I was going to rebuild the engine in a JD Z920A, but decided to just uy a new engine instead. I'm very glad I chose this option because it was so easy. The only thing I had to do other than hook up the wiring and fuel was transfer the oil pressure switch from the old to the new. The new engine runs perfectly. My oil pressure light no longer illuminates at idle like it did with the old tired engine. Worth every penny.

Very happy with this motor. Arrived ahead of time. Runs great. It is a KAWASAKI!!

Easy install, only a couple of parts that had to be swapped, even came with exhaust gaskets

5 stars for the engine as far as fit, performance and ease of install having only 2 wires which control the carb plunger. Green is +. Black is -.The engine was delivered on a box truck, unsecured, and in an upside down box somehow..The engine was not upside down, but diagonal sitting on it's shaft. No support like a pallet or blocks at all. As bad as the box was, I found zero damage on any part of the assembly. Had to sign for it!

You buy quality.. u get quality.. time will tell on this one…

I researched different engines even though it was more than could get other engines for I decided it would fill my requirements. Has been installed and mowing very well.One consideration was the extra air filter.
