Great Quality - Got Exactly What I Ordered
I regularly use silica gel desiccant packets for work, and at home. However, I've found the quality of both the desiccant granules and the packet can vary pretty widely. Most packets I get use decent granules, absorbing a good amount of moisture, but every so often I'd get a set that didn't pull well. As for the packet material, a lot of packets I've gotten use a cheap paper that can inhibit absorption or won't last after just a few uses. These ULINE 10g silica gel packets perform very well, and the packet material is good quality. I've reused several packets so far, and they're still good as new. I'm happy I was able to get "the good stuff," but at a bargain price. I'll be sure to order more of these ULINE desiccant packets!

Keep your tackle from rusting in an inexpensive way.
These little packets are great. I drop a few in each tackle box to help prevent rust. Although I have not tried the Flambeau Zerust tabs which most fisherman use, these packets have worked great for me. They are much cheaper than the other options and I change them out about mid season. This still keeps my 2 year cost significantly less than the other options. They are not perfect, I do sometimes get small spots of rust on some of my tackle, but for the cost, I'm going to keep rolling with it. Get ya some and... stay dry.P.S. I also put one in each reel pouch when I store my reels in the off-season. Never had rust on a reel since I started doing this and since they are flexible bags, they fit in all of the pouches I have.

It works well for removing moisture
I got these desiccant packs to use in my cigar humidor. If, like me, you live in a very humid state like Florida, during the summer months you might have to deal with excessive humidity in your humidor. It obviously depends also on how much you use AC and what is the humidity inside the house. These desiccant packs work like a charm to reduce the humidity inside the humidor, one or two packs are plenty for a 100 count humidor. If you use them keep an eye on the hygrometer though, because you can easily end up with too low humidity.Must be said I now solved the issue by having a dehumidifier running inside the house along with the AC so I no longer need to use them to lower the humidity in my humidor, but these packs have a lot of other uses. For example if you harvest herbs and spices like oregano, rosemary, etc, and don't have a proper set up to dry them, using one of these packs in a mason jar with dry the herbs quickly and effectively.

Ideal size for so many uses
These desiccant packets are so useful! I'm sure we all constantly get bombarded with the tiny desiccant packs that are inside vitamin/supplement bottles, shoe boxes, etc. The larger size of these packets offer so many more options though. One Christmas some years back, we opened boxes of treasured handmade and antique ornaments only to find that one box of them were badly mildewed. With great care, we were able to save some of the ornaments...but there were valuable antique glittered paperboard houses that could not be salvaged. The basement dehumidifier that we normally ran through the summer had been on the blink so too much moisture had gotten into some of the boxes (as we found out some months later). Even with the basement dehumidifier on during soggy summers, I now tuck a desiccant packet inside each large plastic storage box of decorations. I also put packets inside boxes of art work, old storybooks and toys, and other memorabilia from our's and our children's childhoods. I keep a desiccant pack inside boxes of tools in the garage to keep them from rusting when they're not in use. It's an inexpensive way to avoid facing later disappointment over ruined treasures!I see that some folks have given a low rating because the packets they received were of different dimensions than listed (although of same total weight). While I'm sure there may be uses that someone might have that required an exact fit, for most uses it wouldn't really matter if the measurements were different (oblong vs square, etc) as long as the overall size/weight were consistent.

Cost-Effective Moisture reduction
Adequate size with a good cost-to-absorbency ratio. I use these for storing rust/moisture prone items such as auto parts, ammunition, medical supplies, my stamp collection, and other things you want dry! The package shows age by yellowing slightly as it gains moisture so replacement timing is simple. I prefer these to the type that can be oven-dried and reused, as I've blown apart numerous reusables by heating them too fast. My available heating sources aren't suited to renewing that other type, and these last quite a while before needing replacement. I only lose a few pennies per dozen with these over the recyclable ones after adding in the oven/electric costs to do it correctly.

It's a good product--please change back the storage bag
I would give these 5 stars but my recent order (I have ordered these before) arrived in a package that is not recloesable. My previous orders arrived in a silver, opaque recloseable bag, which is how they should be stored. This order arrived in a clear plastic bag that doesn't close and must be torn open. It's a good product--please change back the storage bag!

Rice did not Suck water and moisture much. It was also in winter time. Did nothing for 5 days before. Silica gel is the best. It really works.
