Best Cloth Diapers EVER, No Cons!
I’m going to start out by saying that IMO, these are the best cloth diapers out there hands down. I own several sets of Mama Koala, and for reference I also own ones from Alva Baby, Baby Goal, and Bum Genius. I’ve stopped buying and using every other brand except my Mama Koala ones! Since Alva and Baby Goal are essentially identical, for review purposes I’ll be comparing these with Alva. Here are the differences and what I love about them:- MK outer shell material (as well as inner moister-wicking material) is so much softer than the other brands- Despite having the same weight rating, MK diapers have a much slimmer shell and more snug fit- Because of the smaller snap wings the back elastic basically wraps around the whole backside, which makes blowouts much less likely- This also applies to the elastics around the legs which fit much more snugly with MK diapers- Amazing quality. The snaps are secure, elastic is strong, and both have held up wonderfully during washings- And as a bonus the designs are relevant and adorable with clear designs and bright colors. Every diaper hasn’t been through several wash cycles and still looks brand new.Overall, I find snap diapers to be better in the long run than Velcro which tends to lose its integrity after a few washes. These come with microfiber inserts which are also great quality, thick and soft, very absorbent, and have snaps to adjust the size. However I don’t use these on a day to day basis since I prefer to use my diapers more like snap-in AIO’s and just lay preforms inserts right on top. This allows me to go the whole day only having to use 2 shells and is so much cheaper than buying actual snap-ins.I have never had a blowout with my MK diapers whereas I have with the others, again I contribute this mainly to the difference in fit. Which brings me to my next point: if your babies tend to be on the upper end of the growth chart you may like the other brands better, but coming from someone who has had 4 preemies that have grown to be more small framed children, these diapers are amazing. I started using these with my youngest when she was 3 months old and had finally hit 8 lbs. She is now 6 months old and 12lbs but because of her prematurity about the size of an average 3 month old. I still have the snaps on the smallest setting length wise and they fit beautifully. I don’t anticipate her outgrowing these before potty-training since my 6yo doesnt even weight 35lbs :)As with most cloth diapers, they are bulkier than disposables which can be an issue with clothing. In our case, I don’t even put pants on her because they’re so stinkin’ cute as is. She just wears a tshirt or dress with them at this stage.I have recommended this brand to friends starting to dabble in cloth diapering, and I would recommend Mama Koala 🐨 to you too!I love 💜 them! And have included a ton of pictures since, as a fellow Amazon shopper, I know how important it is to see actual photos :)

New to cloth diapering and loving it
I don't know what compelled me to suddenly look into cloth diapering my baby. I'm a first time mom, and I have no idea why one day I wondered what cloth diapering was like and was advertised these diapers on my phone since I look at baby stuff all the time. I have no one in my life that has done this or likes it, and out of the blue I began doing lots of research and reading reviews on Mama Koala diapers. What sucked me in are these beautifullllll patterns! And the thought of saving money each month as well. Well, I told myself I'd try a set of Mama Koala covers, and then shortly after ordered one set of Mama Koala pocket diapers. Immediately trying them it hit me, that modern cloth diapering isn't hard at all! I went back to order 3 more pocket diapers and am just in love with all these cute patterns on my baby's bum. I love having my 6mo in just a t-shirt and these adorable diapers around the house. I'm not obssessed with saving the planet as others, but it doesn't hurt that I'm not contributing to the land fill with disposables. I'm just so pleased, I don't even care to look at other brands because these work fantastically. The inserts hold up to 3 or so hours on my baby. Still figuring out an overnight method since I'm still using disposables overnight from her baby shower, but I've tried some overnight cloth diapering a few times to test it and just have to tweak the perfect combo of inserts for my heavy night wetter. All in all, these are all you need, they're beautiful, and I can't wait to try to make some new parents cloth diaper converts! HahaSide note, my baby is petite and didn't fit into the pockets until she gained a few pounds even though she was born 7.1 pounds. She was in the small covers for a few months before I started using the pockets. The pockets became my favorite as she became more wiggly as well now that she's 6-7 months old, and in pockets she's still on the smallest setting (not newborn setting though).Regarding inserts, I mostly air dry, but the inserts take over a day to air dry, sometimes a day in hot weather. It sucks if you don't have a drier. But the reason this is a good thing is that it means the inserts absorb moisture and retain it very well. So either you just need more inserts in rotation if air drying, or get yourself a small dryer if you want to keep a small stash. I only have 24 pocket diapers, I like being minimal and like washing them frequently to avoid any ammonia issues. It's preference though. If you're hesitant on cloth diapering. Don't be. They're cute. Easy to use. Easy to launder. You never run out of diapers. And in an emergency, you always have a way to diaper your baby if you ever are in a survival situation. (LOL we love camping so this last idea is a plus!)

New to Cloth Diapers and I’m in love
I bought a few different brands of cloth diapers since I am new to this. Out of the brands I have bought, these are the best yet for the price! I have the 3.0 diapers with the AWJ lining, and so far they are easy to wash and dry, no leaks yet, and very nice quality. They fit my baby very nicely, and I like the cute prints they come in as well.

Love mama koala
I've been cloth diapering my baby for about 2 months now and have mostly used mama koala. The quality of these diapers seem so much better than of something like babygoal. I love the wide opening in the back where you go to stuff the insert, it makes the process of stuffing them a lot easier. The bamboo inserts are great for me currently. At night I do have to use a cotton booster but it's because she sleeps around 7 hours straight. Throughout the day the single bamboo insert does fine. The prints are absolutely beautiful and look high quality. I love the layout of the snaps on the wings especially because it makes it easier to get on my baby correctly. So far of my constant use of mama koala, everything has been great.

Best diaper for the price and quality
I can only compare to Nora’s (another easily available brand)These have the athletic wicking jersey(AWJ) which really do help baby stay dry. Nora’s do not have this and we struggled with rashes. The pocket is easy to use and there is no worry of quickly wearing out the back elastic from stuffing like Nora’s.The inserts are good quality and adjustable. The prints are super cute, there is so much room to grow still for my 15month old (50th percentile) he’s on the “medium” rise setting and still being snapped in the middle of the belly.

Save $$$ and reduce trash to the environment
Thanks to these cloth nappies, we were able to buy less disposable nappies and as a bonus received a rebate from my local council. A win-win situation! The nappies are easy to wash, just need to hose down after baby's #2, soak in water and wash. They become good as new!
