Save your back!
I just drywalled my entire house with 9 foot ceilings. There is no way I could have lifted the 50 pound drywall panels into place. I also used it to put the drywall onto the angled cealings too.Easy to set up and easy to use. It worked great and was super sturdy. It saved me a lot of money rather than buying one from one of the builder's stores at three times the cost of this one.It looked and worked exactly as the one from the builders store.

Does the job… with a little creativity
Firstly, it works and is very well constructed for its purpose - not a iPhone in exacting fit, but exactly what is needed for this sort of tool. This is simple (heavy ish) to assemble, in all but one point. The cable that does the work has not clear way to securely hold in place. We ended up feeding through the hole as pics show, but then made a sort of too and fro between the spokes of the hand wheel, then clamped it there. Not exactly great.Last, if you’re reading this far, you need or want one. Buy it, and be prepared to work with the minor short coming of cable securing (good small C clamp).

You get what you pay for
It’s cheap it’s flimsy and it got the job done. For Just about the same price as renting one for a day I now own one that I can use whenever I need it. It’s not very durable but it works.

A real time saver
I’ve installed drywall before. Two ladders, lift on 3, a little to the left, right, higher, lower. Such a daunting task. This time I did it with this lift, and WOW. A complete game changer. You will need an extra hand to lift the drywall into the lift, unless you can do it alone. This made it so easy, you can wheel it into place, it tilts and adjusts with springs to make a tight fit. Just screw the drywall in and release the lift back down. No more frustrating, time consuming, painful drywall install after this.

Excellent for Ceilings
The media could not be loaded. This product has helped me DIY my ceiling with sheetrock. It was the perfect second and third man holding the sheets in place while it screwed them in. I also have a 18ft valted ceiling and it worked perfectly on the angles.Only reason it's not a 5 star is it has a glitch when winding up past a certain point where it appears the cable catches on something in he mechanism and it slips and settles then it's fine from there, but it has almost caused a sheet of drywall to fall off when I was putting it up on an angled ceiling.Outside of that I can't complain, it works great.

Worse drywall lift I’ve had yet.
Honestly, this drywall lift is a piece of crap. Worse lift I’ve had yet. If I could swear up a storm I would. I have been working on laying drywall ceilings at this house for the past few weeks. Needed something for simple 9-10 foot ceilings. The lift was working at first, besides the inner arm that holds the Sheetrock, not staying in and falling off plowing us in the foot. Then then all of a sudden just two days ago, we’re using the lift to raise the drywall to the ceiling. I set the brake at the desired height. I grab my drill from off the ground, and boom, the brake just stops working and this 8ft sheet of 5/8 just comes crashing down. On top of my head. Giant knot on the top of my head, I no longer have the box as I thought I got a good product. So now I’ve got to find a box, that’s big enough to fit all of these parts in, and send it back. Honestly, just save your money, go to Home Depot and get an actual drywall lift. This product is not worth the price that you pay, if you’re going to end up with hospital bills. Not even going to waste my time returning and blowing out my back trying to get this lift in my truck. Not going to waste anymore money, or gas finding a box for this thing. I’m just cutting my losses, and call it a day. Wife wants me to let the lawyer handle it. I’m just going to forewarn you all. DO NOT BUY THIS SCRAP METAL. Cheap, dangerous, and luckily my child wasn’t around! GOD BLESS!
