Beautifully Voiced Electric Piano
Wow!! This sweet little thing arrived on my doorstep on 29 November 2025. It was packaged in such a way that all parts were securely tucked in and protected so shipping and handling did not cause any damage to any of the components. Set up was a beeze and did not require any type of special tools to assemble. There were basically three parts that required assembly ; the bench, the music rack, and the foundation for the keyboard to rest on. The instruction manual, written in several languages, was very thorough and easy to inderstand, and included instructions along with illustrations describing all the features and functionality which proved to be very helpful. It also came with an easy / moderately easy book of classical music. Now onto the keyboard itself... You will enjoy the authentic piano feel, touch sensitivity high-quality sound, and beginner-friendly features. There are 88 Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) weighted keys that mimic an acoustic piano's touch. In addition, there is a built-in song library showcasing the various 10 different voices that include Grand Piano, Mellow Grand, Pop Grand, Strings. Vibraphone, Electric Piano, Jazz Organ, Pipe Organ, Harpsicord, Electric Piano, that can be played on full keyboard (same sound on all 88 keys), a split voice where half of the keyboard can use a selected voice, while the other half can use a different voice, and the dual functionality, where you can program the keyboard the play 2 voices at the same time. There is a keyboard "dust cover" as well. My favorite is playing Grand Piano coupled with strings. It soundS AWESOME. There a Metronome functionality which is a great compliment to this piano. You are able to record your playing, and during playback, you have the ability to play along with it, using different voices and playing a different accompaniment such as adding rolled chords, playing descents, etc. There are 3 foot pedals, just like using a regular piano, and have the same function. The piano bench, with no storage compartment, is shorter in length in comparison to that which is usually used for a regular piano, but with a bonus...THIS ONE IS PADDED!! Connectivity is as simple as attaching the power cord to the back of the Piano to the electrical outlet. Dn

good piano
This piano was easy to assemble, sounds great, and easy to use. My favorite function was the record feature, so that you can record and then listen and judge your own playing. Super good!!!

Perfect Piano for beginner through intermediate players
Pros: -Easy Assembly -2x8 Watt speakers is plenty for home use and still packs a punch (Lower registry will be felt in your chest at higher volumes) in a smallish 10x10 foot room. - Despite what some youtube reviewers and piano forums say, GHS weighted keys provide a “close enough” approximation to an acoustic piano. I grew up playing on a $20k Schimmel baby grand and can tell you the key action is not the same, but it is absolutely close enough for novice / intermediate players. - Looks great. Someone would walk into the room and know it was a piano, and not a digital keyboard. - VRM Lite is exceptional and really does give the feeling of sympathetic vibrations. - Won’t ruin relationships having to get friends and family to help you move it - Piano sound is a 9/10 from the speakers, and a 11/10 with a good pair of headphones. - Just expensive enough to be quality without breaking the bank. You are buying the best price to performance in this range. - It is quite easy to forget you aren’t actually playing something with strings. Cons: - A lot of Digital Piano Forums and YouTube reviews paint the GHS and 8W speakers in a bad light which gave me crazy buyers remorse in the time between ordering and receiving the piano. Once I had assembled the piano and played on it for a while, all buyer's remorse melted away. I really like this piano especially in this price point. When buying this piano keep in mind the following. - The GHS key action is different than an acoustic, but isn’t bad, and will still feel lively and expressive. - if you are a beginner or intermediate player the Keys will be just fine - If you are an accomplished enough pianist to be held back by the GHS keyboard then why are you looking at entry level digital Pianos? - The VRM lite is a wonderful feature and worth getting in the 145 over the 144 - It is easy to forget you are playing a digital Piano.

Nice quality instrument / repeat buyer
My grandson is so happy we both this piano model. He was in love with mine which is an older but very similar model. It is great for a learner and practice. The sound and touch can be adjusted to whatever you like. It sounds very much like an acoustic instrument to me. Headphones are a wonderful accessory for my grandson who wants to play this 24/7. Also looks pretty good in the home.

Needed a second piano
I needed a second piano for our vacation place. At home we have a Yamaha baby grand conservatorium piano which I really like. The electronic piano was easy to assemble. Keyboard and legs are solid; as is the stool that came with it. The backboard is a little flimsy; for that price I would have expected something of a better quality. Although the keyboard is of a regular size; the piano itself is nice and compact. I like the piano sound. You can hear it best by using headphones; the piano speakers have a somewhat muffled sound. I have not hooked it up to a sound system, which probably would be better. The weighted keys feel like those of my baby grand and are very responsive. I use the piano voice mostly; but it has other voices, like organ, jazz organ, marimba, etc. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I expected a superior product for the price, and I believe that’s what is is.

I really love this instrument
Amazing! I am a professional player so I can appreciate the quality of the sound. The key weight is good, of course not as authentic acoustic piano, but still for every day practice will do.

Excellent Digital Piano for Home Use
I recently purchased the Yamaha YDP145 Arius Series Digital Console Piano with Bench and have been impressed by its performance. This digital piano offers a realistic key action and sound quality that closely resembles that of an acoustic piano. The weighted keys provide a responsive touch, making it enjoyable to play for pianists of all levels. The piano comes with a matching bench, which is sturdy and comfortable for extended practice sessions. The overall design is sleek and fits well in a home environment. While the YDP145 is an older model, it still delivers a great piano experience at a reasonable price point. I recommend it for anyone looking for a quality digital piano for practice or leisure playing at home.

Excelente piano!
