Superb sound and good looking too!
I bought this primarily to use the USB output to digitize my records. It does so easily, but also plays back superbly via the Line Output plugged into the AUX input of my PC speakers. The quality is easily as good as any Hi-Fi separates I have owned in the past. The build quality is superb, and it looks amazing too! All this for just over£100 - outstanding value.

Quality at an affordable price
So long as you are not a serious audiophile and are simply re-discovering your old record collection, then this turntable is for you. Lacks auto controls and of course, because of that, auto-pick up at the end of the record. Ideal for occasional/medium use and you just can't complain at this price point. Tracking and balance arm weight settings all seem fine to me, even though some reviews mentioned issues. Not had any skipping issues over many tests. I managed to get one from Amazon Warehouse, so 1/3rd of the current retail. The unit is finished nicely, is easy to operate and connected to the speakers via Bluetooth easily. Comes with a cloth cover which I guess is more environmentally friendly than the traditional perspex types of our youth. Now allows us to discover records that have been at the back of the wardrobe for years!

Well built and designed with some caveats
I bought this because I wanted something fun that I could move around. It looks great. It feels solidly built and for the price it's clearly been thoughtfully designed to pack as much quality and value as possible. For someone looking for a beginner turntable this might be a good option as long as you know how to balance and set up a counterweight. The cartridge is a solid choice, entry-level, but well respected. Certainly better than the ceramic options on many turntables at this price point. It sounds good... depending on what you are listening to. However there are some caveats, which I'll mention in case they matter to you. 1. Wow (RMS) ie. the fluctuation in the platter's rotation speed. For me it was very audible on anything with sustained notes (think Vienna by Ultravox). Even after buying a platter weight it was still quite apparent. You many not notice, some are more sensitive to it than others and I one of them apparently. In various tests this varied between 0.26-0.36. In contrast an old and long neglected Aiwa from an old midi system measured 0.12-0.16. Marley have done their best to smooth things out with a speed sensor, but I suspect the quality of motor used here and in many other decks aren't as good as those used in previous decades. But you may not notice or mind, so feel free to ignore this. 2. Anti-skate - this does not work like on other turntables I know of, where you would match it to the tracking force (how hard the stylus presses down on the record). If you read the reviews you'll see many comments on problems with it, but that's because they're expecting it to work like normal anti-skate. For this turntable they suggest turning it to zero and, IF you get skipping towards the end of the side, gradually increase it. I had the skipping problem and the 'anti-skate' does fix that, but it does not reduce the centripetal (things get pulled inwards, as opposed to centrifugal where things get pushed outwards) force for barely anything more than the runout track. I don't believe it was a fault in this unit as another I tried did the same thing. The design seems to be working as intended, just not like most people would expect. I like so much about this turntable and I really wanted to be able to justify keeping it. But in the end I couldn't. So close to awesome, but falls short. But you may love it.

Great sound, looks and (for me) easy set up!
Not having used a record player for about 30 years and after reading some reviews I thought I had made a big mistake with talk of balancing the tone arm and setting the tracking force which was all new to me. In reality it took about half a minute of fiddling with the weight on the arm (leaving the tracking at zero) and my old records play complete without any skips. Ive paired it with the House of Marley Get Together Bluetooth Speaker and it sounds great and I think even better than my high end separates from back in the day . The bluetooth connection initially took some time, but after initial set up pairing is now almost instant. I got both items in Warehouse deals which cut the total price in half and both turntable and speaker appear brand new in original packaging. Really stylish looking equipment. Very happy and recommended.

Disappointing
I really wanted to like this. I loved the look and build and what they're trying to do from a sustainable point of view. The instructions supplied are not good, even when you find the YouTube guide, it misses out steps. When I put the platter on mine and took a spirit level to it, wouldn't sit level, I had to prop it up to an extent. I couldn't get anything to play without distortion. It wasn't that the weighting was wrong, even though that is fiddly as heck, it was that there was so much wobble. I've returned it today, no problem and had my refund issued already. I've bought an audio techinca from Argos instead. You know what, plugged it in, put the platter on and it just worked. I am using it with the speaker from house of Marley though.

Very good for the price
I had another turntable setup in my office which always disappointed me. I saw this on a warehouse deal for £72 and thought I'd give it a go. At that price it is incredible, the internal phono stage seems to be pretty decent. I think at RRP of £200 I may not be quite as satisfied, it looks amazing and has some useful features, like auto stop at the end of an album. It also has a replaceable cartridge which is a fairly cheap upgrade, although the supplied cartridge is not to bad. It also looks fantastic and generally feels well made. On the downside, the anti-skate isn't the greatest and I seem to need to unplug it between uses. At full price I think there would be better alternatives at around the same price or slightly more.

Aesthetically pleasing.
I ummed and ahhed about purchasing this! Glad I did. It looks gorgeous, sounds beautiful paired with my Bose speaker and feels like a quality deck. Set up was easy with simple, clear instructions. Bluetooth took a while to establish, but most new Bluetooth pairings do take a while to connect. I have nothing negative to say at all. Worth every penny!

My only complaint with this turntable was the fabric dust cover. Finally they have offered an acrylic dust cover. Fits perfectly.
