This carburetor kit did exactly what it was supposed to. Then it came with all the extras. That was just a plus.

Bought this for a Honda TRX450FE Foreman ES. Pretty straight forward install, like many others stated I had to use the old choke pin and cable. Also ended up using the old throttle cable to save time.Will need some fine tuning but I'm up and running again!!

Easy install fired right up no adjustments needed! Ran and idled perfect!!

88 4 trax 300 not exact fit. Probably poor quality control but The tube they send for the choke cable is crimped in, instead of rolled. The choke cable for your 4trax will not go through this tube. You will have to use your old tube cover on the new plastic nut. Not exactly hard but time consuming to shave the plastic down to use the old tube. Definitely not for a 4trax Honda but you can make it work with some patience.

Here are the pros and cons:PROSIt is installed on the 1996 FourTrax 300 and workingIt is very ‘inexpensive’CONSThe factory choke cable will not fit the carb. The nipple will not pass thru the steel elbow supplied. I had to re-use the old elbow along with the black threaded adapter that screws into the carb. Be sure to use the choke plunger provided, however, since the tolerances weren’t the same.I had to gently file the slot where the throttle cable connected to the carb (I re-used the existing cable which was in excellent shape) since a manufacturing burr stopped the cable from passing thruFor the 1996 FourTrax the fuel nipple should be at the 9 o’clock position; this carb’s nipple was at the 12 o’clock position and did not rotate. I had to install a barbed 90 and a short piece of hose to make it work. Unfortunately it then interferes with the snorkel. The snorkel has been removed (this is ok for my normal use)You will need to adjust the idle mixture screw to suit your vehicle - it most likely will be incorrect. Check the interweb for specific instructions - the number of turns may not match that of the factory carbI keep the spare sparkplug under the seat for emergencies, but suggest using an appropriate NGK modelBE SURE TO TURN OFF THE FUEL PETCOCK (on the gas tank) WHEN NOT USING THE VEHICLE - the carb should not be considered a fuel shut off valve!Good luck.

In went in easily. The choke cable would not fit boot. Used my old one.

The media could not be loaded.  Came with a whole tune up kit. Oil filter, air filter, spark plug, throttle cable, fuel filter. I'm very impressed.
