Almost perfect!
Overall, it is a great product. Suggestion: Clearly state in the product description that a USB to wall/AC adapter is required if you will not be powering this with JUST a laptop, etc. Else, makes a great nightlight! Of course, Amazon has wall adapters!

Happy Wife
This thing is fun. My wife was talking about one of these around Halloween and I bought her one. We still have it set up in our kitchen and people love playing with it.

Electric ball
This electric ball worked for about a month and I did enjoy use it much during that month. All of a sudden, it just stopped working. I have a cat, so I checked the plug in cord and there's no signs of the cat chewing on the cord. I did not get a warranty with it when I purchased it. But I do not recommend this ball.

Makes a hissing sound
The media could not be loaded. It works fine, but it makes a pretty harsh hissing sound when on.

I have always loved these. I looked at so many online and loved the size of this one. The globe is glass which I prefer also.

Lots of Coil Whine
Works as described, but the high-voltage converter has noticeable coil-whine. May not be long for this world.
