I wanted to write a review since the previous ratings are kind of all over the place. In my experience this was a great piggy bank. It is incredibly cute, really sturdy, and I had no trouble getting the nose off and getting it back on.

Chose this for my 5 year old as it is plastic instead of ceramic. She LOVES it. The nose is a little hard to get on and off, but I'm okay with that as it means she won't constantly be dumping out her money everywhere. Super cute and at a great price.

This is a very cute and sturdy piggy bank, but it's very difficult to take the nose off to empty the coins you put inside. Bought this for a 3 year old and if I can't open it, she certainly won't be able to.

Super durable piggy bank. I got it for my daughter because though the glass ones are cute it's not ideal for a toddler and I wanted one she could actually use not just put up out of her reach. It's a bit hard to open which I honestly like because she can't get it open and dump it out

Great gift for a 1st birthday...what kid doesn't' t need a piggy bank? So cute I just pop a 20 in the slot and a bow on the piggy's head and deliver. Kids can teeth on it, play with it and it's easy to sanitize.

This piggy bank is really really cute and made of pretty thick soft plastic. So at first it seems like a very good buy, not flimsy at all.However, access to the coins was impossible. You need to twist the white snout by 90 degrees and then pull to remove it. However the hole in the plastic body of our pig was misshapen and prevented the snout to simply slide out. As a result you needed to pull really hard to get it to come off, especially since the thick plastic body did not give in at all.Closing didnt get any easier, maybe even worse, as the plastic body of the pig gives in even less when you push.Defenitevely not worth all the effort especially since it was meant for a 4 years old. Maybe someone who is not looking at frequent accesses might not mind, but we did.

This is very cute and well packaged. Unlike what some of the reviews say, the snout was very easy to remove. You need to twist it just about one-half turn to remove it. I inserted my money gift into the bank. It was a hit for my 2 year-old niece. Well worth the money.
