Sturdy, reliable for several months.
OK, I have now had the hose for quite some time, so I have edited my original, surly post. The hose is well made, the spigot shows no signs of detachment from the hose itself. It seems to be real brass, which is nice, and even if it isn't, is very sturdy and unaffected by water. The hose is also sturdy. It doesn't kink and it doesn't get tangled. It's a bit short, I suppose, but meets my needs. I figure I have about 20 ft that I need to water all my plants out front of the apartment, and then a bit on the side about 13 feet away. I can't reach the side, exactly, but because the hose is so solid, I can even stretch it a bit. The water pressure does the rest.

This product is made great and I give that a 5 star rating but ...
This product is made of extremely high quality materials which I give a 5 star rating but that is not the problem. The complaints on this is the quality brass joints tend to unscrew and leak. This seems to be an easy fix by tighten them back up. This isn’t always possible.Another fix seems to be by taking the ends apart and rescrewing them back together. Warning: They may never go back together correctly. This may require special factory tools. I bought 2 of these and though I could easily fix the problem. WRONG. Now neither hose works because of the way the ends fit back together and the constant stretching of the hoses and how it affects the ends. Both only lasted about 6 months before developing unrepairable leaks on the ends.Still, I love the quality of the product and I know I sound like an idiot who couldn’t repair a simple product. Yet I’m a contractor and auto mechanic. The wife and I used them twice a day every day before I had problems due to stretching and the ends.If you don’t use them much and keep the ends SCREWED TIGHT, you may be luckier than me.

Super Expanding Water Hose
I ordered one set of the Expanding Water Hose to see if my husband liked them. He was very impressed with the way they go back into a flower pot !! So now I've ordered 2 more sets of hose for the front of the house to wash the cars with. he hated the weight of the rubber hoses & the way they kink up but these don't kink & are so lite weight. Just get a pretty flower pot & they curl right up in the pot !!Just received my 4th Expanding Water Hose for the back yard so we can water flowers & tomato plants across the back of the house. My husband has used them for several weeks & still very happy with them. Also the customer service from the company is as good as the water hose's ,it's a win win deal when you buy Expanding Water Hoses.

Overall a good expanding hose with some small issues...
So far so good! We have been using this hose for a couple of weeks and it is doing fine so far. Expands to about 20' and contracts well when draining. Only time will tell if it will last, but we like it much better than the vinyl hose we were using previously that would not coil at all and was hard to navigate through our flowers when watering.UPDATE: Have been using the hose for about a month now and noticed that the rubber strain reliefs on both ends tend to slide down onto the hose and are a pain to put back where they belong. Not sure how this will affect the longevity of the hose, but it is something the manufacturer could have fixed by gluing the strain reliefs in place so they do not move.UPDATE: This hose has been hooked up on our outside porch for 2 seasons now (we bring it in each winter). So far, so good. No bursts or issues. The hose still expands and contracts as it did when it was new. I will say that the spot we put the hose in is partial sun and we use the hose about 3-5 times per week. So, seems to be a good product if you use it frequently and keep it out of the sun all day. I would say that leaving it in the sun will probably degrade this type of hose...we use 100% rubber hoses when we need to leave them in the sun all day.

Super duper water hose
I finally put this hose to use yesterday. Works great!! Now I can water my patio garden without tugging, straining, twisting, etc.like I did with my old hose. I can't believe how super lightweight this hose is. As a senior with aches and whatnot, I find this hose unbelievably ( but true ) to use with such ease.

High fail rate
Premium Expanding Water Hose Up Lightweight & Durable Expandable Garden Hose - Doesn't Twist & Kink - Brass End Fittings - Suitable For Home & Heavy Duty Commercial Use By Innav8 (25' Foot) Update August 2019: Two years later, with gentle handling and infrequent usage (because we have sprinkler systems and only use these hoses to supplement), one of the hoses started leaking at the faucet end, which rendered it unusable. At this rate, I'm not sure that I'd recommend this product because none of my previous traditional hoses fail this fast. And I'm not interested in creating waste in the landfill no matter the price. Fingers crossed my other two will hold a little longer.I hated our existent hoses and had always wanted a solution that can hide them when not in use. This hose is perfect. Not only is it compact, it's also light-weight. So, when not in use, it shrinks to 1/3 of it's full length. And I can easily hang them on the faucet without worrying about breaking the faucet (yes, it's happened before). The light weight also makes hosing the garden so much fun and I'm sure my flower are enjoying more frequent watering because it's effortless.I ordered one as a test. As soon as I tried it, I ordered 3 more. And the seller is a pleasure to work with.Tip - The hose does not come with a nozzle. After the hose has expanded and the switch is turned to on position on the valve, the water comes out spraying. If you don't like the force and don't want the soil to be splashed, it's a good idea to attach a nozzle with different spray pattern to fit your needs.

Exactly what I hoped for!
Update: I am still very happy with this hose!Received it yesterday so have only used it once, but it is exactly what I wanted. The couplings are strong, the hose itself is lightweight, it expands to reach the areas in my yard I need it to, and then it shrinks into a very manageable curly hose. I followed the directions that came in the box to let it uncoil gently, then added my nozzle and went to work. If it presents an issue down the line, I will update my comments, but right now I am very happy with this purchase!
