These dive hoods are nicer quality than I expected for the price. They fit well and keep my head warm in chilly water.

Velcro strap instead of an extra layer between your throat and wetsuit. Works wonderfully if the water is not so cold that you need your throat and neck covered.

I've had a recurring issue with losing my scuba hoods, so I discovered that I needed replacements last minute before a trip. Given how much body heat we lose through our heads, having a reliable hood is crucial for staying warm underwater. These hoods were not only affordable but also fit me perfectly. During my dives, they kept me comfortably warm, and I even had a dry hood ready for the next day. While the chin straps are velcro, which isn't my preference, they do offer adjustability that others might appreciate.

I swim 5 days a week from the chlorine my hair was getting brittle. So now I wet my hair before I swim and put a conditioner on it. Then this cap goes on and I go swimming. It is not a cap to keep your hair dry anyway. But it does keep my conditioner on my hair and my hair is no longer brittle . I did use those rubber vinyl swim caps however, I always was pulling it back down because it was sliding off due to the conditioner. The strap on this is comfortable and now I can swim without having to adjust the cap.

I have a big head and hate the pullover hoods. Works great.

I like the thickness and feel of the hood. The fit for me wasn’t great. I have a 7 1/4 hat sized head and it fits around the crown just fine but the chin strap is tight, almost choking. I only wore it once and it didn’t seem to keep me any warmer than just a swim cap. For me it wasn’t worth getting choked and being uncomfortable for the minimum added warmth.

I am a diver and needed a new hood I bought this pair to give one to my wife or have a spare later… my wife loved it and I loved it. Simple closure with a stretch that holds for large head and small for my wife. Holds the hair out of theway and protects aginst sun … Allowes to place a diver mask right to the face as it does not protude too far in the forehead and eyes… mask and snorkle workes fine all in one purchase.
