Seal kit worked awesome every seal was there and fit perfect no problems

Went to put this together and two of the seals were too small the one that goes around the main pump was too thin and when I went around the motor was too small

Doesn't fit what it supposed to
I'm not a young pup nor am I mechanically challenged... I have been turning wrenches both for both marine and road going vehicles for about 33yrs.... wow now I feel old.So these got shipped very quickly that pleased me...the 1st very quickly order got damaged in the mail I guess... the shipping pouch was cut open...the internal bags opened as well. I can't in good conscience give more than a cursory review of that incomplete set as we must give the seller the benefit of doubt.The second set as a replacement set arrived very quickly much quicker than expected. It was complete.... and identical to all parts that were not lost en route from the 1st bag. The o rings fit well...the shaft seal and wiper fit well. Then came the piston rings and seal...and nope... undersized seal and oversized rings.My power trim was leaking down before I started...and with the new piston seal and rings dropped so fast it was disturbing. I just to check replaced the new seal and rings with the old ones for test....back to slowly dropping.This lead to me double then triple checking part numbers.... yes it is sold as the right one...yes I ordered the right one....no it doesn't work as intendedI'm not happy... will now do what I should have done in the 1st place and buy OEM parts.Your mileage may vary but I for one won't make the mistake of reordering and hoping #3 works.

Had everything but the piston seals where too narrow and had a lot of slopp. So I had to use the old ones. I really only needed the top seals. But wish the piston had had new as well.

Johnson 40hp 2 stroke
Parts were slightly smaller and leaked fluid. The piston replacement parts allowed fluid to pass. Which means it didn't operate once engine weight was applied.
