Most durable non-stick pan on market
We live on a boat and we often use a pan of this size with a lid for 80% of our cooking needs. We like the non-stick qualities of a pan and have owned a half dozen brands. None of the brands were durable. Typically a scratch would develop even with coated utensils. Once a scratch is there, it is no longer non-stick in that area and cleaning now becomes difficult. We've been through several pans to date, even an expensive one from France. We've wound up throwing them all away and considered going back to plain stainless steel which could always be cleaned, although with lots of elbow grease at times and pains with sticking.With that lead-in, I saw the Swiss Diamond pan advertised and was intrigued with the claimed durability of a diamond infused coating so I bought one from Amazon last summer. We have used it everyday, usually twice a day (breakfast and evening meal), and the coating is pristine. It really is durable, a great step up from our experiences with previous pans. The glass cover makes the pan useful for the main course at dinner, like a mini-oven as well as a fry pan. The top handle can be closed or open to keep the inside moist or not. We've had no problem picking up the lid by the knob even after extended cooking, the knob remained cool and with the knob rotated to off, no steam was coming out.However, there are some things to watch out for. As per our past experiences with coated pans, the two great enemies of long life are scratches and carbonization. The diamond infused coated has addressed scratches issue successfully compared to our previous pans - as mentioned before, the surface is still pristine. To prevent carbonization, just wipe the pan with a paper towel to remove all residue. Since the pan is non-stick, this takes about 10 seconds at most. Even residue that resulted from frying pork chops (for example) with very little oil leaving a heavy, black residue comes right off with a paper towel. If the residue is not removed and the pan is used again, the residue can become carbonized and will affect the non-stick qualities of the surface (our past experiences with other pans). In other words, the pan becomes scrap metal if you let that happen.So, spend 10 seconds, wipe the pan with a paper towel and it's ready for reuse. We are very happy with the product and will report back here after a year of use - but it still looks like new now even with twice a day use after 6 months.

Best of the no stick after about 1 year of use.
The non stick surface is not coming off! Resists sticking. Great stainless steel handle that stays cool. Surface of pan can discolor a bit but is very scratch resistant. I use silicone or wood flippers to cook with and serve food. And I clean with non scratching scrubbers. Seems to be the best non stick pan I have tied. Overall quite satisfied and happy. Quality product.

Since I liked this pan so much, I purchased one for each household as a Christmas gift along with a wooden spatula. Everyone loved it.

Great fry pan with lid
This fry pan is perfect. The handle is attached without screws that show inside the pan so it’s very easy to clean. I use it most days and love it. And it goes into a hot oven with no issues.

Best ever…
Over the years have had many large non stick pans. I had purchased the small Swiss Diamond pan for eggs and it performed excellently.There are always two large non stick pans of different quality brands in my kitchen. Each time I believed I had gotten one of the best. It was now time to replace one of them.This Swiss Diamond surpasses them all. Heat distribution, cleanable, cooking surface size and formation.Elected to purchase this pan with the lid. When it arrived and I read the instructions…the lid’s knob can be closed, open, or partially opened…steam control.Most recently a chicken dish, after browning, vegetables, sauce etc. was to require 30 minutes cook time covered with lid. The Swiss Diamond was done perfectly in 15 minutes, delicious, easy clean up, no sticking!Super highly recommend!

Non-stick heaven, but not without some issues
I wanted a large pan to sear+cook chicken / steaks with sauces without the hassles of stainless-steel cleanup. Here's the good news: Nothing seems to stick to the Swiss Diamond pan and clean-up couldn't be easier (despite the pan's heft); it heats up reasonably fast and has a lid with a convenient vent on top. I doubt this pan will ever warp as it's built like a tank. Here's the bad news: The sides are fairly shallow and don't cover the whole 12"...I know it's a fry-pan, but I wasn't prepared for a pan *that* shallow (the pictures imply a deeper pan) and it's hard to use a spoon to remove food because you can't easily use the sides to form a scoop with the spoon (possible my expectations are out-of-line with a fry pan vs. a Sauté pan); Water collects under the rather skimpy knob so you'll want to dry the lid carefully; the vent option on the knob has too much free play so it's difficult to keep the knob in the position you want. In summary, I'm giving this pan four stars because it's a non-stick champ and well-built but has some lid annoyances that shouldn't be present in a pan this expensive. Whether you'll need a deeper pan depends on your cooking plans.

Best Frying pan hands down
This one is to replace the one we bought in 2000. It still works great, but occasionally somethings stick. But hey, a frying pan that’s almost 25 years old? What do you expect? This is a great, great product. Actually dropped the lid a few times, it never broke. Can’t say enough about this pan. Great investment.

Great Heat Distribution, Undeniable Quality
Perfect little frying pan for one or two people. It has even heat distribution, is easy to clean, it not light weight and cheap feeling and is very sturdy. It is pricey for sure, but should last for years to come.
