It's a great product, but.... I would like to see some changes. For my NVR/DVR setup, I had to move the fan to the side. That meant getting out my 3" hole punch and knocking a hole in the side panel then drilling 4 holes for the mounting screws. If the manufacturer would have had a little more fore-thought, knowing that not all installations are the same. Also, the box enclosure came with 4 large concrete anchor bolts???? I can not imagine anyone, any installation that you would want your NVR/DVR sitting on the floor. I used 4, 3/8" x 1.5" chrome plated, carriage bolts, large fender washers and nylon lock nuts on the inside to anchor this to the top linen closet shelf. The carriage bolts are self-locking, looks nice, none snagging and a thief will have a difficult time getting into the box. Just remember; locks only keeps honest people out.Back to the fan. The fan is loud, 55db and we can hear it through the wall. I purchased from Amazon a new fan that is much quieter (46db), lower wattage and pushes more air. It was also a cleaner, AC setup. Overall, I'm very happy that my installation is clean, quite and my data is more secure from thieves. The box is fairly secure, bends are good, welds are better. Yes the fan is darn noisey plus it moves very little air for all that noise. Luckily the intake and exhaust fan ports on my NVR line up perfectly with the perforated vent areas on the sides of the box, so I did not use the fan in the rear of the box and simply sealed it up. My NVR runs very cool in this configuration. I did not use any of the knockout holes on the box. They just were not where I needed to run wires through.I mounted my box on the rear wall of a closet, on its side. I greenlee punched two holes in the cover to run 1-1/4 conduit pull elbows up into the ceiling to the attic for all the camera ethernet cables and power. Once I put junk back into the closet, the box cannot be seen at all. Monitoring the Hard Drive temperature with the remote login, I only had 1 degree C temp increase after installing my NVR into the box. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a nice sturdy box and a good value. Lock seems to work just fine. Top is removable which makes it easy to mount and load with equipment. Almost every box out there comes with a noisy or poor quality fan and though I haven't plugged the fan in yet (it's cold up here right now!), I have some decent fans in stock that I prefer anyway. I believe it ships with anchors for cement walls, but I've got an assortment of anchors for all types of mounting - in this case, I just used 4 heavy-duty wood screws to mount it to a doubled up plywood backboard.

Worked as intended. Was able to secure large NVR to the wall, but had to remove the fan in order to fit the wiring. Had to punch extra holes for side ventilation. Back of the box is removable. Makes it easier to connect cabling. It gets secured after all pieces installed, but could use extra screws for sturdiness.

I wished the reviews saved like the rating of stars saved. Some how my review erased.. Not happy about that!As far as the lock box goes, I was looking for a lock box to secure my DVR in. I needed something with quality, I have looked at several different lock boxes, and this one was the best I have seen. When I received the lock box, I was amazed at how solid the box is. I checked to see if there were any entry points and I did not see any. Meaning once you lock the box, even the screws on the outside of the box, do not give access inside the lock box. I also like how heavy the box is. The box was easy to set up, there was not much to do. I highly recommend this box if you want to secure your DVR. This box to me also makes a person think twice about wanting to tamper with your DVR.
