Looks elegant..
We strung these underneath the ribs of our 12 ft patio umbrella. The battery pack just sits on the table at the bottom of the pole, so it's convenient to change the batteries. don't know how long the batteries will last, but we use rechargeable batteries. The copper wire bends however you want it to, and the remote seems to work just fine pointed at the battery pack from several feet away. The dimming feature is very nice, and they're timed to go off in 6 hours. Just don't unravel the whole roll as you're putting them up. That's why ppl are having a problem with tangling and hanging them. Unroll as you go. *UPDATE**** It's over 1.5 yrs and these are still going strong! The battery pack has also survived many rain storms.. 👍

Exactly What I Needed, A Must Have!
I purchased 3 Vickerman Unlit Natural Alpine Trees. The tress come lit but my experience is they never have enough lights, the wires are thick, you must plug them in and if they go out, you're stuck with them on the tree (ugly). So, I decided to give these Twinkle Star fairy lights a try. They are perfect. I used 4 sets of 300 lights total for my 3 trees. I wired them to each individual branch (more on that below). They are beautiful. I've received so many compliments and everyone thinks the trees were professionally lit.Because of these Twinkle Star fairy lights, my trees are now perfectly pre-lit for every season to come. That said, putting them on the tress takes finesse. Especially if you're wrapping each branch as I did. The thin wire made wrapping easy for molding to the branches BUT I warn you that tangling is the devil of this process. If you go in knowing to be diligent in avoiding the "tangleation" of it all, you'll be fine.Tips:*Turn on the lights to give perspective and keep the batter pack in your pocket as you string. This helps prevent the tangling as you circle the tree.*Keep the lights on the card as you string to help the wire stay in order. Again, tangling is your nemesis. At first I put it on my wrist but soon, it strangle my arm like a boa and I could barely get it off over my hand.*If the wire kinks, Go With It! It will not show or hinder the performance so tighten the kink/knot and continue.*If you do get super tangled, relax, grab some wine/tea and walk away for a bit. Then uncoil the tangled wire. Walk it away from the tree and untangle, utilize the "go with the kink/knot approach. You'll be back on track.*Take your time. In the pictures you see my wires are loose in areas. I've since "tightened up" my work however, they are pretty and look like part of my beaded garland anyway.*Finally, I wrapped the battery packs in gold foil and zip tied them to the tree trunks out of site.Sorry for the long review and tips but I want everyone to know how worth it these lights are. If I can do it, I promise you can do it too.Merry Happy Holidays!

Average quality lights
Long strand of average quality lights. Battery pack holds 8 batteries (I think) but the lights work if you only put batteries on the bottom of the case, in all three of the strands I bought, figured this out accidentally when taking the batteries out.If I were going to buy these again, I think I'd get the shorter strands as these long strands were difficult to work with and easily tangled.

Lights work great. Remote was kinda useless.
We decorated our site with these for a four day camping trip. They ran from 8 until midnight for days on the same batteries and were quite bright. They do get tangled when hanging them so you need to be patient but went up and came back down without breaking. The remote control however did not work from more than 10 feet away.

These are SO fun and SO pretty
I used this for outdoor lighting around a pop-up canopy. They looked really great. I left them up outside for 2 weeks without a problem. They run on batteries so no cords and operate with a remote. The remote is REALLY tiny, so keep track of it! The only other issue is the wires are really long and thin and get easily tangled, so if you're looping or wrapping the lights, you need to be patient. Once they are up though, they are so pretty. The lighting is amber and the lights flash and twinkle in 4 different patterns. I'm also planning on using these for a scene in a stage play, since they are remote controlled, the lighting booth can just hit the button to activate them at the right time.

Good for bottle fairy lights project
Worked great for what I needed them for: bunching them up into little glass bottles and stringing them up with twine around the bottle-necks. Only been a couple weeks, but they still work well! I wouldn't try to light up a room with them, but I think they're meant for ambience anyway. If you want to try this project:The corks fit perfectly well with the wire sticking out of two sides of the opening, although I had to be careful when moving them around during production because the springiness of the wire did occasionally pop a cork out here and there. So definitely Gorilla glue the corks in place once you have the lights how you want them, anyway. Also, definitely do not attempt to hang the bottles by the wire alone if they are glass, and thus too heavy for some glued cork-stoppers to support (I would imagine). I used twine from Joann fabric/craft store. I double-tied it around the neck of each bottle, wrapped it around the wire lights connecting each bottle a couple of times, and then made sure it was shorter than the wire segment to assure all the tension/weight was on the twine and not the wire.Happy crafting! :)

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I strung them up outside on my patio and they look amazing! Everyone that comes over loves them! They add such a cool ambience. They work great with no issues. I like how they have several lighting options. they literally change the whole appearance of my patio and for not very much money !! I also use them on my Christmas tree during winter. Buy these, you won’t regret it!

Best light string ever!
The lights are amazing! I placed them in a white Christmas tree, and what a beautiful purple tree we had that glowed magnificently. I recommend to anyone looking for a different look. Purple for The Nightmare Before Christmas, and red for a Star Wars themed tree. The batteries lasted up until I took the decorations down. Durable and fun!
