Nice Portable Game
I like how light it is, and the magnets seem adequate enough to hold the pieces on in the car (though we only used it sitting at a restaurant table, so I am guessing at that). I don’t like that the pieces seem delicate- It’s a layer of magnet sheet, topped by a foam board, topped by a plastic-y sort of paper. I could easily see either the paper or the magnet peeling off the foam core. Further, if they’re not handled carefully, the paper seems to crease easily. Verdict- I would still buy it because it’s a decent size while still being light enough to carry around, but don’t expect it to last a long time if your kids are in any way rough with their things.

Great for travel
We bought this for a very long car trip and it was a great addition. It kept the kids busy in the car and because it was magnetic there weren't pieces all over the car. Also the perfect size for small hands.

Good but limited
This was exactly what I was looking for, but there is no way to king someone and without losing the benefit of the magnetism. If there is a way, I would love to know! Don't want to lose the piece on the airplane.

My kiddo loves it!
My kiddo wanted to learn how to play checkers & this was very useful. This item is also great as a travel game because it is magnetic & you can take it everywhere you go. This game is perfect for any occasion! I strongly recommend it!

Nice for Road Trips
The magnets keeps the pieces on the board and makes it great for road trips. The board securely closes with pieces inside. The only complaint we had was that when king in checkers the pieces do not stack well. Overall it was a good purchase and would recommend it to others.
