Heroes of Olympus, The, Book Two: Son of Neptune, The: The Graphic Novel-The Heroes of Olympus, Book Two Review: good - Good very good I liked it a lot I think u will to it was not that hard to read Review: Decent Graphic Novel Adaptation of a Good Book - I started with this graphic novel adaptation because it was on Kindle Unlimited and I wanted to see how it was. I am a big fan of the Percy Jackson books, despite being a couple of decades older than their target audience, and I was curious how these adaptations would come out. I didn't want to buy one right off the bags I've unfortunately had rather mixed success with reading graphic adaptations of books, as some of them are not that well drawn or don't do the story justice (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children stands out as a particular disappointment. They could've made that such a fun, colorful GN but nope...). Luckily, this was not one of those. While it is obviously not quite as in depth as the book upon which it is based, it followed the original story pretty closely and it was a lot of fun seeing illustrated representations of my favorite characters. The art was pretty decent, too. I would definitely read more of the graphic novels for the rest of this series. It's been awhile since I read Heroes of Olympus, so this was a fun refresher that I read through in a couple of hours. I'd recommend it to fans who have already finished the books themselves, as this version was a little light on details, so I'm not sure you would get the full impact of the story if you were just reading the GN versions. But I think most fans would enjoy seeing their favorite characters coming to life in this well executed graphic novel.

The story continues to build on itself beautifully
The fun continues in this well crafted and beautiful book. We enter into the Roman side of the greco-roman pantheon and are greeted with another cast of interesting and entertaining characters. Percy's adventures continure with new friends and "companions in arms". All-in-all a fine addition to the "Olympians" canon.

Great Graphic Novel and Sequel
As usual for Rick Riordan, this second story in the Heroes of Olympus series is a terrific sequel. This is the first graphic novel I have read from him, and it is wonderful, as are the novels.

great for kids who have Dyslexia!
IT WAS A GREAT BOOK! Although I was sad it didn’t show case the panda pet that Percy owned, but it’s great for someone who had dyslexia.

Great Graphic Novel
This was so enjoyable and the pictures were so awesome and gave the book so much more meaning. I love the art style and the fonts. Also the dialogue is flawless. I love this series and this is worth your time! Long but so worth it!

Yay Books! Boo TV.
I bought this because my son was staring at any screen he could find and claiming he "had nothing to read!" Seriously folks, after taking a forced xbox break, he was staring at the microwave one day and I swear he was hoping it would do something more entertaining that warming up his oatmeal. Well, Rick Riordan to the rescue! I only wish he could turn out these new novels about once a week, because despite the above complaints about all things screen related, my kid flies through Riordan's books and has reread them all many times.
