This is one for the "it does what it says it does and does it very well," category. The only "dings" I can think of is that it would have been nice if it had handles. It's weird that this bowl is hot enough to burn your hands when you take it out of the microwave, but my silicone pot holders work great. But, I don't really see anything that would cause me to remove a star. And the lid doesn't fit perfectly or snugly, but it serves its purpose of helping to trap heat and avoid overflow. For what it is and the price, I can use a pot holder or towel to take it out of the microwave. The 2 containers that come with it are just the right size to give both kids a good portion and still have enough left over for dad (based on 1/3 cup of unpopped corn).I found that if you want a "buttery taste," it works best if you take the time to melt butter first, then add the popcorn and follow the popping directions.

I love this popcorn popper! Worked well. Not a lot of unpopped kernels. No burned pieces. Fits in my small microwave! Doesn't take up a lot of space once it's collapsed. Sort of floppy, which had me a little worried I'd spill the popcorn trying to take it out of the microwave, but it wasn't a problem at all.

Tried this out and it works great making a bowl of popcorn in about 2 minutes - no burnt kernels. The lid is a little smaller than the top but it worked well still. The popcorn cups are a cool bonus too. Can’t beat the price

This silicone popcorn maker is much easier and works better than a traditional air popper. You don't need oil or butter to pop the kernels. All the kernels pop the first time. This set is great for a gift because it comes with a microwavable popper and two popcorn containers.

I bought this to replace an old/cracked presto pop bowl. Microwave is 900 watts; perhaps too low but I do not get enough (using white) kernels popped to bother using further.

Ordered this and the bowl was incredibly bent. They gave me a code to buy a new one, and the new one arrived even more bent than the first. It’s silicone so it still works (kinda). However you can’t pop a lot because the lid gets blocked from rising by the bent bowl.

Works great. Pops a generous portion. Be sure to use pot holders to remove from microwave.

Works well. The rubber stays hot, but pops almost every kernel.
