Before this object entered my kitchen mysteriously I'd just slop my marinara-covered ladle any old place, staining our precious surfaces with crimson slop. Now, this wooden miracle throws itself before the menace of our large spoon, sacrificing itself, as Christ did, to absorb our sins. Also has non-slip rubber grips.

My malamine spoon rest broke. After looking at different sizes and types, I chose this one. It looks nice on my ivory/cream colored stove; but my 5 star review centers around the silicone, no slide feet feature and it does it stay where you put it! The design could use a little"tweaking". Just a little bigger or size options, mini, single, or double and modify the end to adapt to the spoon handle. It is very easy to clean, a little dish soap on a sponge, rinse off and dry. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Debating if I want to buy another for my coffee area.

My wife wanted a different spoon rest. We used to have one that stood the spoons upright and she hated it. She pointed out a cheap one similar in style to this product somewhere but it was stainless steel and i didn’t like it. I wanted something a little different from what you can find in a big box store. This spoon rest is elegant! If I remember right I chose the Acacia. The smooth flowing curves of it and the beautiful wood grain almost make it a conversation piece! It’s sturdy, easy to clean, well designed, and nicely finished. Other reviewers have made a big deal about how the shoes keep it from moving. Although I haven’t tested this myself, I don’t doubt it. This is a lovely addition to our kitchen.

You know you've reached peak adulthood when you review a spoon rest online. Well, I can't help it, I do like this spoon rest. It's a lovely place to rest my spoon. Cleans easy and has rubber feet so it doesn't slide around. Since it's wood, I don't need to worry about it breaking like a ceramic one might. Also easy to clean. Sturdy ole spoon rest.

This is such a pretty wooden spoon rest! I don’t want to use it, but I bought it to be a workhorse. So far, it has easily served that purpose, and it has cleaned up beautifully with a little bit of dish soap and hot water. Zulay offers a warranty registration for their products, which I immediately completed. So even if something goes wrong with this spoon rest after Amazon’s return window, Zulay will take care of the issue. That’s a great thing these days!

Its simple, looks expensive and I am happy I bought it. My friend put hers in the dishwasher and ruined it. So beware. I love mine. Nice and compact and attractive. Matches the salt pots made of acacia too. Nice.

just the right amount of thickness feels sturdy and very unique looking wood. very easy to clean and have not warped even being on a hot stove. The little rubber circle on the bottom fell off at some point but they are not really needed. very good price for something that will pretty much last you forever.

This is not worth the price I paid for it....nor is it anywhere near as dark as the pictures show...looks more like light maple. Buyers beware.
