I really like this heater, I use it outside in my gazebo with the sides zipped up. It was easy to install, you just hang it with the chain then plug it in. On full power it gave out loads of heat so we could sit outside in March! It also gives off a brilliant light so it was lovely and cozy.One star removed for the really short cord, we had to use it with an extension lead.

This year we opted for something different at Christmas and decided to have an outdoor Christmas dinner. We created a little Christmas wonderland in the gazebo and needed something to keep us warm. Enter the patio heater. We hung it from the gazebo frame above the centre of the table and it worked perfectly to keep us all lovely and warm. It warmed up very quickly and we were able to keep a nice steady heat on the lower setting. The remote control came in really handy too. Not sure how well it would do out in the open but worked very well for what we needed it for. The lead is quite short so had to buy a separate extension but overall very impressed.

Had this installed and tested. Worked fine with remote. Allowing switching on and off change heat settings and turning on light. Happy so far. Went out for the evening. Came home in heavy rain. To my dismay the heater had switched itself on full heat. Not sure how long it was on. Whilst the unit will switch on with installed switch, remote does not function, unit making unusual noise. Guessing there maybe water ingress. Returning to Amazon for full refund. Just be careful where you locate the heater in case this happens.

Easy to install, light feature very handy.

This should have come erected with the base separate. So hard to put together with the inadequate instructions supplied. I had to photo the small A5 instructions then enlarge then print off. I found a picture online to help me see where the bits go! Even then it was a hassle. Never had enough screws either so used my own.The end product looks ok but cannot switch on as still sweating with aching hands from the build.

This had the usual poor instructions especially regards the attachment of the heating head to the top pole. The parts list was not clear either. It was left to me to figure it out; There is one pole which has the crucial part hidden within it. It is a smaller and non rounded pole which pulls up and allows the heater head to form a union with the top pole. The pole has adjustable height but I found leaving it unincreased but using all three poles was the best for a seated party.The heat settings are basically quarter heat, three quarter heat, full heat.This is achieved by the settings operating that proportion of its heat bars. The pull cord seems ok but I decided to leave mine set on 3 quarter heat and use the plus as the on off switch just in case.This could have been better designed for portability by having wheels on one side of the base and having the pole holding screws integrated in each poles sides rather than having them as loose screws which must not be lost and need a screwdriver for (included but still a faff to have to save somewhere).Nonetheless if you want to move it in the car to someone's garden I leave one section of the poles unscrewed and this allows quick separation for fitting it in the car and seems stable even without screwing that section in.Obviously not with children around if that were the case I would not leave it unscrewed.This is a very good and reasonably priced garden heater (or conservatory or even house if one was needed for emergency use.) I found I was able to sit out in winter in the daytime using it and had it not been there this would not have been possible it does make a big difference.

Durable, adjustable height, gives great warmth for my patio area and has good coverage for warmth. It is a great value for the size and price.

It works good

The DONYER POWER Electric Patio Heater is a tall patio heater with a halogen element design. It has two modes (high, low) and is operated by a pull string.Assembly is easy and takes 15 minutes. The parts aren't numbered and the instructions are poor but you can deduce what needs to be done, hopefully not forgetting to install the wire holders on the outside which doesn't seem to be mentioned in the instructions or the microscopic picture.The heat from this isn't overbearing. It's a pleasant heat that you feel mostly when directly under it. It isn't an efficient space heater but more of a heater designed for a patio type area.Overall, it seems well build and is very sturdy with a weighted base to prevent tipping in high winds.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is soo freaking good for my usage. We have a small shack that we use to smoke our medicinal … but I live in Canada and it’s freaking so cold (-20) so- I needed something to take the edge off and after using for 4 days now- I can definitely say I’m super happy with my purchase. It’s not an incredibly high amount of heat. It’s just the right amount so it won’t melt the shed walls that are plastic. But it warms up the 5x5’ shack in about 1 minute or 2. Very quickly and where as before I was freezing my but off which would make my chronic illness worst- this allows me to sit in my shed for a while comfortably and warm. This is so great! Will updated my review once I’ve had it for longer but so far I’m super happy and at such a great price!
