I really like this!
Shopping for a new ironing board took me a long time because I got so wrapped up in all the negative reviews for every ironing board I read about. My last ironing board was one that you just get a Target or somewhere, and it was fine for a few years but seem to get more rickety year after year until finally I barely bumped it and my iron crushed to the floor and broke. It was a really good iron so that annoyed me and I decided to get a new ironing board right away. After hours of research, literally hours, I finally decided on this one though I was worried because of people's videos and reviews. I do not know if they may have gotten a lemon and I got a really good one, but I am happy with mine. The ironing board I got came very well packed-- though the box was damaged the board was not. When I took it out I found that it is pretty sturdy. This is not like a coffee table, and you're not supposed to set your TV up on it but it should stay upright and stable while you are moving in iron around on your clothing, and it definitely does that.If you are ironing bigger items regularly like curtains or you piece quilts or something, you may want to get a different ironing board that is longer. This is a bit shorter than my old one, but for my use it's fine. I mostly iron shirts. Also I like that it has the spot for my iron to sit. My iron fits fine, honestly I'm not really sure how it's supposed to sit in there but when I set mine in, it seems secure and if I bump the ironing board and it rocks, which I would have to bump it pretty hard for it to do, I don't think my iron would fall out like what happened with my old ironing board that did not have a special iron resting spot. There is a thing to hold your cord up out of the way which honestly I only use the first day and haven't used again. There is a little rack you're supposed to be able to hang your clothes. I haven't really used that either because I have a large rack in my laundry room to do that. Last there's kind of a shelf underneath the ironing board. If my setup was different, I think it would be handy but I don't really need it... so I havent used that either. If you're looking for extra sturdiness it may help to put something a little heavier on that shelf. -- But my board doesn't rock at all.Since I have a laundry room I just leave the laundry board set up all the time unless it's in the way. So I have not used the door hanger either. The ironing board is super simple to fold up if you need to. I think even if you put this away after each use, you would not get annoyed to have to take it out and set it up. It's really easy. Also to adjust the height you just lift the top up or press the release and press the top down, so that is easy as well.Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I don't think I really have any complaints. There are some features that I mentioned that I don't really need but it's okay that they are there. I'm very satisfied.

All of the Features You Could Want
Worth the Price!I was looking to replace my 50 year old ironing board whose rivets finally gave out. So many of the new boards had thin wobbly legs. This board is very sturdy, easy to close, open and height adjust. Its extra width is great for ironing table cloths or to iron seams while sewing quilts. The attached iron stand works great and makes for more ironing area on the board. The point is still narrow enough to slide shirt shoulders over. The chord holder is the answer to my forever problem of the chord getting caught up and wrinkling areas I had already ironed. It’s well padded and has a heat reflecting cover for added ironing efficiency. I was concerned the underneath tray would bump my legs but it does not. Great engineering! I’m sure this will be my LAST ironing board because I expect this one to last 50 years too!

Sturdy, User-Friendly Ironing Board with Thoughtful Features
I’ve been using the Xabitat ironing board for a few weeks now, and it has impressed me with its sturdy construction while remaining lightweight. Thanks to the conveniently placed handle below the board, opening and deploying the board is a breeze. Unlike some other ironing boards, the legs don’t drop suddenly, giving me full control and making setup hassle-free.One of the standout features is the board’s stability. It remains steady during ironing, eliminating any fear of it tipping over. The adjustable height is a significant advantage, especially since it can be set a bit higher than other boards I’ve owned, making it more comfortable to use.The ironing surface is well-padded, allowing the iron to glide smoothly, which enhances the overall ironing experience. I also appreciate the small tray underneath for stashing light items as I iron. The iron cord holder is a clever addition, keeping the iron’s cord out of the way.Additionally, the board’s size is more generous compared to others, which was a key factor for me when selecting this product. The heat-resistant material adds an extra layer of safety, ensuring durability and peace of mind.Overall, the Xabitat ironing board combines practicality with thoughtful design features, making it a fantastic choice for anyone in need of a reliable and efficient ironing solution.

Great Ironing Board
Love this ironing board! it is incredibly sturdy and not only are the legs well made, but they also have rubber tips on the end of the feet that keep them from sliding. It was a pleasure to be able to take it out of the plastic wrap and be able to use it immediately with no fussing around with screws and set up. The ironing board cover even came attached, which was great! I will not use the extender to keep the cord out of the way because I don't need it. I also probably won't rest my iron on the end of the board plate because I am fussy about scratching my iron plate. But after a while, maybe I will try it. The only reason I took off 1 star is because after I ironed a few things, I noticed that there were marks on the cover, not sure if it was from the starch, or steam. I did try to wipe it off, but the marks are still there. Because I iron small white linens frequently, I can't take a chance, so I will purchase a different cover. But the ironing board itself is definitely worth the money, and I highly recommend it.
