Solved my Bose Soundtouch Connection Problem
I did a lot of research before I bought this. I had a very specific use case for it. I wanted to rebroadcast my sound output to 6 different Bose Soundtouch wireless speakers. And it's wonderful for that. Here were the issues:- Bose Soundtouch devices will not rebroadcast through the aux port on the device, only bluetooth connections. It's limitation of Bose Soundtouch devices.- I wanted only sound to be picked off, therefore transmitted.- I have optical audio ports on the TVs.- I have 6 Bose Soundtouch devices to connect all at once because I wanted to be able to listen to a show, news, music, sports, while doing other things around the house and even outside.- I wanted to be able to easily disconnect the TV audio and play it through a normal sound system when the delay (1 to 2 seconds) from the sound rebroadcast was not acceptable when actually watching the TV.- I wanted the bluetooth disconnect to not effect other wireless usage of the 6 Soundtouch speakers when not using Bluetooth audio feed. With the help of this device, I have met all my above criterion. I am able to use the wireless broadcast of sound through the speakers located in various places around the house and outside. I am able to use the optical audio cable that comes with Trond bluetooth transmitter and connect it to the TV. TV audio also still works normally. I am then able to hit the button on top of the bluetooth transmitter and connect to the Bose speakers to rebroadcast. I am able to easily turn it back off, holding the button on top for about a second, and use the Bose system normally.Super simple and functional. Reconnecting bluetooth has not been a problem, ever. No more than a button press has been required. I have never found a good use of the optical audio port on my flat screens until now. My stereo is too old for that sort of connection.I rarely use the battery so I can't comment on that. I leave the device plugged in all the time. Also, I have moved it about 25 ft away and the sound was never interrupted. I suspect your mileage may vary on the distance given interference conditions in your own house. But I'm quite pleased with this performance for a bluetooth device.

Late Night Piano Lounge in the Comfort of Your Own Living Room
I have a Roland keyboard in our living room. Besides playing it as a musical instrument, the keyboard also can play songs via midi files, sort of like a player piano. If you find the right music, you can simulate a piano bar sort of atmosphere.I thought it would be kind of interesting to hook up the piano with an external speaker that is quite bigger and more full sounding than the built in speakers. I chose this Bluetooth transmitter because I have had positive experiences in the past with maker, i.e. TROND.I glanced at the instructions, but being that I have dozens of devices that work with Bluetooth, I decided to just "figure it out." Moreover, it turned out to be pretty easy. I used the accompanying USB cable and plugged it into my keyboard, much the same way that I can plug in a wired headset or wired external speaker. Next, I paired the transmitter to my NYNE Bass speaker, which is phenomenal, btw.It worked great. We got a nice full sound, and once speaker was hidden, you could swear you at some piano lounge at a swank hotel.Next, I tried putting the speaker outside next to pool. The Bluetooth signal had to go through a wall. However, in terms of proximity, the piano and the Bose speaker or only separated by 5 feet or so. That worked beautifully as well, as long we kept the speaker within about 5 feet of the actual physical location of the piano. Now, all we need is the summer. The limitation, of course, is that it needs to be playing from a midi file. I did try playing the piano, but there is too much of a delay to make that anything but awkward. But for what box is designed for, it is capable of playing your music from a device that doesn't have any built-in Bluetooth.

bluetooth transmitter!!!
This bt transmitter works awesome compared to many others, it is portable and light weight. The battery last a long time also makes it very portable for enjoyment anywhere !!!!!! I use it with my trond headphones that are 5 years old and still sound great !!!!! This transmitter/ receiver was the best one i have tried out of 5 that never worked right, it can hook up to digital fiber optic or analog stereo 3.5mm head phone jack. The range is 100ft plus. I just can't tell you how much i love this transmitter i use it every day listening to music while i sand wood projects !!!!!!!!
