Happy Island Portable Heated Blanket USB Electric Blanket

It gets VERY hot in some spots, and doesn’t heat at all in others. My special needs daughter in a wheelchair was burned pretty badly. 😢 Would NOT recommend, especially for people who can’t remove it from their bodies.

I bought this USB blanket to use when we have power failures, which is often. I plugged it into a 10,000 mah external battery pack and it depleted the battery in two hours. The blanket only got luke warm. It only stays warm as long as it’s plugged in. Maybe if you planned to use it in a car for a trip and it was plugged into the car USB source it would be better suited. Or if you had a cold Office and your computer was always plugged in, you could plug this USB blanket into that. Does not work for my needs. Also the USB cord is only 12 inches long. Not very useful if you think you’re going to use it on a sofa or recliner either, now we’re back to needing an external battery. Cheaply made, this is the third USB blanket of this type, between $30-$60 range and none of them worked longer than two hours on a large battery pack. Either the technology isn’t there yet or you need to spend a lot more money.

It works as described

I bought this for my father who does dialysis 3 days a week. He gets VERY cold and uncomfortable so I thought this is PERFECT, but in actuality it’s just a blanket with no power pack to power the coils in the blanket. That is sold separately and you’d have no idea except for 1 line buried in the description (out of 3 paragraphs) so this awesome “steal” at this price point is really just wishful things because you’ll have to spend another 20/30 dollars for a battery

Never heated up

This blanket doesnt even get warm. Returned it.

expensive for a cheap design

Its a great blanket for camping but my wife liked something softer without the slick backing
