Theragun Elite - (Product) RED - Percussive Therapy Deep Tissue Muscle Treatment Massage Gun

I had no idea how much this purchase was going to change my daily struggles with chronic pain. I have a pretty unlucky combination of degenerating issues following a lifetime of intense sports+ two epic accidents+ chronic anxiety that mostly manifests as muscle tension. I spend an average of 4-6 hours every weeks shuffling back and forth between a massage therapist, chiropractor and physical therapist to try to manage the pain and tension in my shoulders and upper back without having to use pain killers or live on bottles of motrin.I was fairly hesitant as this wasn't an insignificant purchase, but after a particularly bad pain night, I impulse purchased at 3 am. My thinking was that if it could take the place of even a few of my therapy appointments, it'd pay for itself depressingly fast.I figured if it was a total bust I'd just send it back.SWEET EIGHT POUND BABY JEEBUS. I WAS NOT PREPARED. If I'd had ANY clue this measure of relief was available to me at home, any time between appointments, I would've purchased one of these YEARS ago.I watched some videos online and did a little reading before it showed up, so I'd be able to dive right in. Though the app that comes with it is actually great. I like the preprogrammed options a lot and that it shows you which muscles to target and with what adapterThe absolute, immediate, instant relief after a quick 10 min session was so intense, I started actually involuntarily WEEPING, almost as a stress response from the sudden LACK of pressure in my neck.My therapist was excited to use and integrate it into my 2x weekly sessions and has been able to use the gun to melt the surface tension in seconds, so she can spend most of our sessions working on the deeper issues and knots, thus making it a doubly good investment in terms of chronic pain care. I have more neck mobility than I have in almost 5 years. I haven't had a tension headache in over two weeks, whereas before it was a constant lowgrade - debilitating presence. I can't overstate enough how much this is changing my life and it's only been 2.5 weeks.Battery life is pretty good for my uses, Able to go a few days between chargesNot very loud/ doesn't bother me at allI like the various attachments and am considering some of the double options as a future purchase.The carrying case it came with is really nice and makes taking it and the accessories easy and portableThe ergonomics of the handle were a HUGE selling point to me. I have some neuropathic damage that makes it hard for me to grip on the fingers with my dominant hand when flaring. I'm still able to effectively hold this by myself if i need to, to get targeted relief.My husband is a grocery store manager on his feet from 8-16 hours a day sometimes and most of the time thats on HARD surfaces. As we getting closer to 40, he's started to feel the effects of those long hours a lot more and was also starting to have significant leg and shoulder pain. His pain level has gone from neeeding to see a doctor/ massage therapist to almost non existent!!!! This is a WONDERFUL tool to invest in if you have a job that requires you to be on your feet a lot.I plan to update this later as I get to know it better. I would buy this again in a heartbeat, knowing how effective it is now.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present in 2022 as he has a sore neck. He uses is EVERY day MULTIPLE times a day and it's still going strong. Where I was REALLY sold on the product was we took it camping this weekend and he accidentally left it outside overnight and it rained!! We were both terrified it was a goner but we let it dry out for the day and it STILL WORKS PERFECTLY!!!

The TheraGun is an excellent product, especially when I had severe lower back pain and couldn't move for days -- used the Theragun for 5 minutes and the pain instantly went away and hasn't come back (true story).My issue came with the lithium battery - I went a year without using the TheraGun while I was traveling. When I came back, the battery would not charge and rendered the TheraGun completely inoperable. After back and forth with Customer Service, they told me the Theragun needs to be used regularly otherwise the battery will die (like a car). Keep using your product and it will last! My girlfriend and I use this all the time, it really helps with sore muscles. There was a bit of a learning curve in the sense of what feels best but it didn't take long to find what works. The battery is relatively long lasting. For example, If I use it for about 30min a day, I would need to charge it about once a week depending on the pressure I'm applying and speed it's on. High pressure and high speed would probably need a charge every few days. Still, it's more than enough to get through whatever you need in a single session. Highly recommended!

I have been a fan of Therabody for a long time. I have 3 older model Theraguns and found them to work wonders on stiff and sore muscles. The first versions were pretty loud so I had use earplugs. Theragun Elite is very quiet in comparison.After only 3 months of use my new Theragun Elite stopped working and won't start. I contacted Therabody but they told me that it was sold by an unauthorised reseller and had to contact Amazon for a warranty claim. Amazon support offered to provide an return label but then withdrew the offer and asked me to send an email that has not been responded.This whole experience has left me very disappointed. I doubt that I will ever buy a Therabody product again - and if I do I will not order from Amazon.

Knots, gym or muscle soreness? This is what you need. if you are sensitive to touch, this is not for you. The lightest setting is stronger than most other imitators. This will give you that deep tissue action, oh so good!Battery life isn't the best but you shouldn't be using for more than 15 minutes at a time anyway. The amount of power that this delivers, you shouldn't expect a 6 hour run time... they're not headphones, you know!

From the packaging to the device, you can see and feel the quality. Had it and used it for couple of weeks and I can tell it will performa better than expected. SImple ROI: how much would you pay for trigger point therapy, acupressure, etc? This device can do close to these therapies in the convenience of your home. You can work on tendons, ligaments, and large muscles. Obviously research these therapies first. But definately recommend.

So I have had the privilege of owning both the Hypervolt and this 5th Gen. I will make it simple.The Hypervolt has approximately 1/4 inch less travel than the 5th Gen. It relies on higher RPM's , so it's method of action is vibrating your muscles into submission. The Theragun JACKHAMMERS muscles with brute force! But with about a thousand RPMs less. So if you want a little more gentle vibration every muscles, then get the Hypervolt. If you want to be the living snot out of your muscles, then me 5th gen is for you.On that note, the only thing I can't stand about this 5th gen is the awful battery! It literally only lasts about 45 minutes at full tilt. Hope this helps. :-)

I had a reasonable massage gun before I got the Theragun. But as I am working through some injuries and flexibility issues I thought it would be worth investing in the Theragun.I was not disappointed. It is significantly more powerful and effective than my previous massage gun. The triangular handle is surprisingly useful (I thought it would be mostly gimmick) and makes certain positions a lot less stressful on your wrists.If you are looking for a relaxing massage keep well clear : ) However, if you want a tool to help with recovery, etc, then this is excellent.

acheté et reçu en 48h. A l'ouverture, ravi de cet achat qui a l'air d'excellente qualité, mis en valeur dans une belle malette qui contient les embouts et le cable de chargement. Batterie à 0% donc mise en charge. Quelle deception de voir qu'au bout de plusieurs heures, la batterie est toujours à 0%. Appel au SAV qui prend en compte mais qui n'envoi un bon de retour que 4 jours après. Retour au vendeur qui m'en renvoi un autre lorsqu'il aura reçu celui là. La confiance n'est plus au rdv... je ferais un autre message avec le nouveau quand je l'aurai reçu.Message après 15 jours : article renvoyé et reçu par TERAGUN depuis 1 semaine, mais aucune nouvelle du vendeur, et pas de pistolet de renvoyé. J'ai donc prit contact avec amazon qui m'a remboursée... donc super déçue de cet achat qui aura duré 15 jours durant lesquels je n'avais ni article ni argent...bien entendu je ne recommande pas ce vendeur.

Massage guns seem to be the latest FAD in fitness, with so many products flooded all over amazon from brands I've never even heard of. After reading external professional reviews this and the Hypervolt came out on top so I decided to take the plunge on the Theragun and never looked back.For post work out recovery I've never felt better. The app is to be honest a bit useless, but after watching a couple of how to videos it's pretty easy to get the hang of it.Highly recommend!

Worth.. every.. penny.The quality of this bit of kit over other massage guns is notable. I know they are expensive but after my chiropractor used her device on me I went out and bought one the same day.
