I was pleasantly surprised by these appliques. Yes, the wood was a little rough on some of the edges, but this was quickly rectified by caulking and paint. They are a nice value for the price and worked really well for my Georgian/Neoclassical mirror project.

I used these wood appliques for detail on a fireplace mantle surround I made. They worked great and added just a little special touch. I think these resemble vintage fireplace carved details. The shapes of each piece were well carved, and looked well made. I think once I have painted the mantle it will blend nicely in my older home.

Nice hardwood with consistent carving. Price was very reasonable.

Very poor quality! These are not cut correctly, so the wood is all fuzzy and it is not possible to get a smooth clean look using them. You cannot sand them to correct it either because the details get lost in the sanding and it’s impossible to sand in all the small crevices. Would NOT recommend buying these!
