Seller Mass Depot came through
I purchased this at the end of August and it had a manufacture date of April this year so it’s nice and fresh. Cheaper than anywhere else I found by $10, and the tire showed up a day earlier than expected. Couldn’t ask for more from an online tire seller! As for the tire, it’s great. This is my 4th or 5th rosso IV and I’ve never had an issue, although I only got 3500 miles out of the last front tire. I only use them on the street and I try not to ride in rain. It heats up well and feels confident until the tire starts to “triangle” out near the end of its life. Tire balanced with one 1/4oz weight.

Sticky and Stable
I did a lot of research before buying these tires for my BMW S1000XR. What sold me was Pirelli’s experience in providing tires for the World Superbike Championship. They’ve parlayed their experience on the track into a great set of tires on the street. I’ve had them on my bike now for a week and they most certainly live up to the hype. Due to their triangular shape they “turn into” corners far better. Once you’re into the corner they stick like glue. “What about bumpy turns,” you ask? This is the part I dont have any idea how they pulled it off. With my stock tires, the bike would wobble in bumpy turns. Not a dangerous amount, but enough to make you roll off the throttle the next time you came through the same corner. Not so with these Pirellis. They are loads more stable in bumpy corners. I can’t say enough about them!

Awesome tire!
Way better than Dunlop... Got two sets of tires... One Dunlop sportmax and one set Diablo Rosso III/front IV. The Dunlop it's nearing to be replaced already in only a few months, the Diablo is still looking good. Also, the point we need to discuss is ripping gears and stopping. The Dunlop doesn't stop, it slides. The pirelli, grips everyway possible! I can down shift the pirelli and apply brakes at the same moment coming to a stop in an instant... The Dunlop, it's a sad excuse for a sport bike tire... These are sick on a street bike!
