Sand Scoops Heavy Duty Galvanized Metal

I was going to the beach and needed a scoop, since I'm not living in Florida I don't need a long handle, so I picked this up.. and it works great!The metal is not flimsy, I used my foot to help push it into the wet sand, and never had any issues or bending.It's in my trunk now, can't wait to go back to Florida... :)

This is a great, budget-priced scoop that prevents coins and other metallic items from sieving through while metal detecting. The only fault I can find with it are that the edges where the scoop is seamed are sharp. Hanging it from the belt I use in field resulted in a few cuts, but was easily remedied by deburring with a hand file. Handles enough soil to make the find quickly, but light and sturdy for field use. Considering the cost, I would recommend for the weekend metal Hunter.

I would assume this is a popular item for people on the beach doing metal detecting. I did not use it for that, I used it for shark tooth hunting. I love the product. I had one previously that was made of plastic and it worked well until it broke. I like the heavy constuction of this product. I have had no issues with it bending or breaking. I have no negative input or suggestions on how to make it better, at this time I am very satisfied.

This Heavy Duty Galvanized Metal Sand Scoop is excellent: Sturdiness is very good; value for money is the best; thickness is perfect - heavy and stiff. Hand-made construction is evident with each piece being unique and distinct. I purchased 2 of them. The metal pieces have been shaped, formed, bent, spot welded and finished by hand. At less than half the price of most, it's a top value.

Solid but incredibly sloppy workmanship. Spot welds were very crude and one of them seperated after first use. The corners in front of the handles were extremely sharp - a real safety issue. I filed them down but now the galvanized coating is gone so I expect rust. Does any body take pride in their work anymore?

Excelente, solo que en el momento de desenvolverlo me corte con un pequeño borde, pero lo comento para tener un poco de cuidado al manipularlo. Pero el producto es tal cual esta descrito en la publicacion... y el envio super rapido
