Way better than the Origin one X
The xd5 is a fantastic mouse especially for its price. Sensor is great, 3370. Switches is kaihl 8.0 which is by far the best implementation of the 8.0 that ive tried, and ive tried a few(OOX,xm1r,xlitewireless). Side buttons sounds and feels great aswell. Not heavy like the one boardzy reviewed(probably just a quality control issue on his copy). No creaking, flexing or rattling. Rgb is just a bonus. I wouldnt mind fantech to remove the rgb cause rgb is not important at all. Badge is so small too. Looks really neat. Now for the con. More of a nitpicking. The mouse is just a little and very little back heavy but definitely wont affect your gameplay, and because the back panel is removable, i just use it with the back removed.Handsdown, a great mouse for the price. For 60$ sometimes 55$ youll get a mouse that feels and plays like a 150$ mouse.

Excellent mouse, with a flaw - skates and skates
This mouse would be endgame and main for me, but holding back due to lousy skates (copy of intellimouse skates). If they work on the skates, my hunting for the mouse ends here. Ergonomics is excellent. Shape and size perfect with midsize palm. Sensor is amazing. Weight is perfect. Please, please fix the skates!

Great Mouse but it might not be for you
The mouse has good clicks, amazing sensor and build quality is decent. It has some creaking when pressed hard enough due to the detachable back. Battery life is great and lasts me days of on and off gaming session. While this mouse sounds great on paper, it has a potential drawback for some and its the design. It's based of the intellimouse shape and while that isn't a bad thing, it's scaled down version which means it will only fit a small niche due to it's ergonomic shape and size. I myself have smaller hands and it took me a while to get used to the shape. Once I got used to the shape(2 weeks of use), I started performing decent but still not as well as my other smaller mice. I would claw grip it and while the shape provides stability, it also takes away a lot of mobility. It also often caused cramps due to the comfort grooves on the right side which would force me to palm or relax claw it which made me perform worse.

If you like to charge things every 24 hours then this mouse is for you
First the PROS: It's a very well designed mouse, lightweight. Even good for small hands like mine. It performs very well and looks nice CONS: It is constantly out of power and you need to charge it for a long time. It is more than annoying. I can't give a good rating because of that.

This is a lighter, smaller, wireless version of the IP Microsoft should have released a while ago
A lot of people will overlook this mouse, which is a shame because this mouse is great. This is a lighter, smaller, wireless version of the Intellimouse Pro Microsoft should have released a while ago, but I’m glad Fantech did. If you’re into ergo mice, get this mouse. If you’re not into ergo mice, get it anyways. I’ve owned this mouse since Nov. ’21 and it is definitely in my top 3. Kailh 8.0 switches sound/feel amazing in this mouse. I own a XM1r and the 8.0s on the XD5 sound/feel noticeably better on the XD5 for me. Top tier PixArt 3370 sensor performs as it should, giving you top tier performance on a wireless mouse, which is not common… at least yet. 72g feels just right, although the weight could have been better distributed as it is a little heavy in the back. Scroll wheel feels nice, but some more tension would have been much appreciated. The width is perfect for me and has a nice grip to it. Side buttons, in my opinion, should have been pushed more towards the front. I feel like my thumb has to go too far back to click MB5. It’s something that you get used to and I wouldn’t consider it a deal breaker. MB5 sits flush with the shell, while MB4 protrudes a bit more, which I found odd. Stock feet feel fine and glide well. I should also add that the XD5 comes with an extra set of feet, which is always a plus. Speaking of extras, the XD5 comes with a set of grips, which feel odd. The grip is almost nonexistent and it almost feels like leather. I normally use grips to prevent oil stains on the shell and not so much for grip, so it wasn’t a huge deal for me. Battery life is very good, not the best, but you won’t feel like you’re having to constantly charge it. The XD5 is light on the RGB, which could be a good or bad thing for you. I personally appreciate the subtleness of it and color is diffused well (at least on my copy). I also appreciated the small Fantech logo, with no RGB, on the rear of the XD5, which gave it a more minimalistic look.Fantech did a great job with the XD5. A few improvements here and there and this would be the perfect mouse for me. Great clicks, looks sexy, top tier sensor, lightweight, comfortable, and great battery life makes for a great mouse, which it is. For $60, I would recommend the XD5 over other wireless mice like the O-/D- wireless any day of the week, hands down.

Great mouse with a proprietary USB-C cable
I loved every aspect of the mouse.* Great shape (from MS Intellimouse)* Very light* Nice batter life* UBS-C charging (not micro USB like most of the other mice)* Provided grip tape (I did not use them)Cons* The plug/tip of the USB charging is a lot narrower than a standard USB-C cable. Folks who have used Razer mice will understand this issue. Just because of this I decided to return a mouse. That means I cannot carry a universal USB-C cable and use it for this mouse. **** Not cool ****

Lasted 4 months
The mouse quit working less than 4 months in. Worst electronics customer support I've ever experienced. Would NOT recommended buying this product unless you want to waste money.

Come on, Fantech...
I'm not sure what fantech was thinking making this mouse that is a replica of the legendary intellimouse 3.0 about 1/3 the size. It's impossible to find a true palm grip mouse that is wireless and at least housing a 3370. This mouse checks off every box but the size. I got this mouse recently, put it in my hands, and immediately put it back in the box to be returned. Once they make a true replica of the 3.0 then and only then will I consider getting one. Really disappointed 😞
