I am extremely pleased with the MAIDeSITe Electric Chair Lift. I have recommended it to my friends, to my husband's doctors and nurses, and to my husband's physical therapists. The chair is easy to use, easy to clean, and sturdy. I have only one user comment: The suction cups are very strong and hold tightly to hard floors. Check the suction cups from time to time to make sure they remain tightly screwed into the chair base, and use the suction cup tabs to detach the chair lift from the floor when putting it away.My husband has a cancer which caused permanent nerve damage in his leg. He falls frequently. He can't get up from the floor by himself, and I can't lift him unaided. The MAIDeSITe Electric Chair Lift is exactly the tool we need to raise him from the floor to a sitting height, which is high enough for him to stand using his walker. Without the MAIDeSITe Electric Chair Lift I would be forced to call the paramedics to help him get off the floor, or injure myself and him trying to lift him by hand.

I am not very much into giving reviews on any product I buy online but this time the quality of this product and its functionality calls for it. Buying this Chair Lift for me has been a tremendous help and a game changer in the care I provide for my husband. I was surprised how well this device work because is like having a portable small elevator from the floor to a sitting position available to you when you need it!I never expected to find this innovative and well-made product in the market when I started to shop for some aids or techniques to help someone who has fallen or slide to the floor to stand up with the least of the efforts from them or the helper or care giver. This is a product that really works, well built and very easy to handle. It is more than a blessing if the person who needs to stand up help themselves to be positioned on the chair but if that is not the case it cost little effort for you and any care giver to sit him or her on the Chair Lift since it has 2 extended ramps to the side that facilitates that person to be positioned on the Chair. It is easy to carry, though a little bit heavy, any regular standard size person can handle it with ease.The Chair Lift It is definitely a high quality, durable product with very sturdy material used in its fabrication. It is a definitely a plus especially with respect to accessibility, safety and care-giving in general.I have used it sometimes for my husband when he slides to the floor and can’t get back up. The caregiver and I positioned him back into the Chair Lift and he was up in his feet in not time! Definitely a great purchase and I highly recommend this product. It saves me time, it gives me a peace of mind knowing I can handle falls in case I need it, it gives me independence from external help and has made my life more stress free knowing that I can help my husband in an easy and safe way.The customer service is also excellent. There is a real person on the other side of the phone line willing to listen to your concerns and gives you immediate answers. It is really a nice surprise since most of the service provided for mechanical or digital devices you buy online are not that responsive.So, I definitely give this business five thumbs up!! I bought this in December of 2023 for my 92 year old mother. It was still boxed because I haven't needed it. Well, she slipped to the floor at 4 AM and couldn't get up. I am not strong enough to pick her up, so I went and got the chair lift, opened the box and set it up quick and easy. The remote was even charged. We used it and she was back in bed in no time. She said it was a life saver. I am very pleased.

I bought this for my 94 year old mom. It works well but it’s still a little bit heavy for me to carry around so I ordered a small suitcase rolling cart and bungee corded it to that. Now it’s easier moving around. Worth the money to have when needed.

I was originally looking for a lift to assist picking up my wife from the floor after a fall. I found this lift on Amazon and viewing the video, I thought it might work well for that purpose. When we received it, I set it up right away to try it out. There is some charge in the battery so I was able to test it right away. It is about 3 inches off the floor when fully lowered, so I still need to be able to get my wife up onto the seat from the floor. In the video, the user had enough strength to lift himself to the lowered seat. My wife doesn't have that strength, so I will have to lift her onto the seat, but it is much better than trying to lift her completely from the floor. The chair lift will raise the person from the floor level to a seated level. The user would have to be able to stand from a seated position at chair height. But as a care giver, this is much more practical and manageable. There are wings on each side of the chair to aid in transferring the user from the chair lift to a chair, bed or even a tub.As I was reading the instructions, it mentioned to not leave it in the water when not in use. It wasn't clear to me that this was submersible and could be used in the tub. When I read the description on Amazon, I missed the bullet point regarding using it in the tub. The instructions show measuring the tub to make sure it fits, but the instructions do not cover it's use in the tub. Not sure if I was assuming correctly, I emailed the company. Cecilia responded very quickly and confirmed that it was designed for use in the tub, and she let me know that there was a video on Amazon about using it in the tub. I had two more questions after that and each time Cecilia answered very quickly and was very friendly. Until now, getting in and out of the tub is very difficult and dangerous for my wife, as she has little strength and balance and stepping in and out was too challenging. This chair is designed so that you can sit on the chair from outside the tub and swing your legs into the tub while seated. Then the chair lowers the person down into the water. You can raise or lower in and out of the water as needed for bathing and rinsing the various parts of your body. When the bath is finished, you can raise back up even with the side of the tub, swing your legs out and stand up on a secure rug or mat on the bathroom floor, without having to try to stand in the tub and step over the side of the tub. The controller is rechargeable and unplugs from the chair so that it can be charged away from the tub. The chair and the controller are both waterproof, and the connection plug appears to be sealed also when plugged in. The bottom of the chair has 6 suction cups so that it doesn't move in the tub. I did find that to take it out of the tub, as you to unseal each suction cup one at a time, they tend to stick back down when you go to the next one, so that was a bit challenging, but I figured that if I put a towel or washcloth under each suction cup as I pulled it up, that wouldn't be a problem.It is rated for up to a 300 lb person. I weigh 270 and I have tested it and it doesn't have any problem lifting me.Even though I bought this lift not knowing about its bath uses, I know we will get a lot of use with this chair lift especially for bathing.
