Small Grain Pouch

We had this given to use as a gift and absolutely loved it! This is our 2nd purchase and will continue to use in the future. Slightly different, more robust taste than traditional sea salt. Definitely worth trying!

when i was in Cusco, Peru last year, i was introduced to the benifits of this salt from The Sacred Valley.. our guide, Abel was born and raised there, and took us to a local market. I bought Flur de Sal. Now that I am home in the US, I was happy to see that I could buy this precious salt from you.

Bought this because it was praised by someone, don't remember who. It's basically like a rough sea salt, with a slightly darker hue. But the flavor is practically the same. It's nicely packaged, but the bag is far smaller than expected.

This is the best tasting salt I’ve ever had! I originally discovered it 23 years ago while traveling in the Peruvian Andes. A natural spring flows out of the mountain side and it is channel down the mountainside into hundreds of shallow diked salt pans. After a day or two of evaporation a skim of salt crystals forms on the surface. The women walk through the ponds using scrapers to collect the salt crystals. They are dried further and put into large burlap sacks which are loaded on to mules to be carried down the mountain. Yes, it’s not cheap, but I think it beats Himalayan and French salt hands down!

Great quality. Special salt for ceremony

Thank you. We love it.

I think this salt tastes great. I will probably repurchase this when it's gone. I like that it is hand harvested and people have the opportunity to support themselves and their families. I like the outer bag also.

I was watching a very cool show on Peru and saw a mountain with a salt spring. Apparently the family s of the sacred valley have been making terraced pools down the mountain side for thousands of years. On the sides of these pools salt collects and they harvest it. I thought that was very cool so I found some and bought it. It's sweet as it is salty and very good.

I love this salt I first got it when we went to the sacred valley in Peru and saw how they harvest the salt Amazing It's Worth supporting a small business
