For years, part of my job was a Police Firearms instructor, now retired, and as a result my hearing has greatly diminished, in order to clearly understand movies on my TV I had to adjust Netflix so I could read the dialog. A few years ago I purchased another brand of over the ear headphones, but they could not connect directly to the TV, I had to connect through my cable box, so I still could not enjoy Netflix and they were over the ear headphones which after a while got hot and uncomfortable. A few days ago I came across these Digital/Analog TV ears and decided to give them a try. Wow! First, the installation was extremely easy, took less than 5 minutes and it was working perfectly. I connected one end of the Digital cable to the Digital audio port of the box and the other end to the Digital port of the TV. Then I connected the power cord to the box and that's it. I was able to hear the TV and Netflix immediately. The headset is very light and the earbuds and width of the bands connecting the set to the ears are very adjustable. Once adjusted you can barely tell that you're wearing it. I've read other reviews that say the TV ears quit after a short time. I hope not, I really like these, but just in case, for $1.54 I also purchased the extended 2 year protection plan and will update my review if they fail. But, for now it's definitely 5 stars. Looking forward to hearing TV the way it's supposed to be. Very Happy. I recommend it.

I love my TV ears! I just purchased my second set. My first set I had for six years. Unless my volume is turned up, I have a hard time understanding male voices, or if someone is speaking with an accent so TV ears really helps me with that because I can turn up the volume and not disturb anyone else and still be able to hear perfectly! Thank you, TV ears!

TV Ears worked great for 3 years. Yesterday it stopped working. Called several times and was on hold 20 minutes and never spoke to anyone. Called again and pressed 4 for them to call me back. 24 hours later still no call back! 5 year warranty is useless if you can’t contact them. I will throw these away and purchase a different brand!!!

Highly recommend these. Bought these for my husband, he loves them, I LOVE them. He can hear, I can HEAR. Wives want to keep your hearing buy these for your HUSBANDS, Husbands want your wives to cook you great meals, LOVE THESE.

This is really a great product, but be advised this is not a plug 'n play setup unless you have an optical Audio Out connection on your TV. I don't (Samsung 55"), and I exchanged several emails with Tech Support and also needed to purchase an audio interface to connect to my TV - details in parenthesis: (AMANKA 192KHz HDMI ARC Audio Extractor with Digital Optical TOSLINK SPDIF Coaxial, HDMI ARC to RCA Audio Converter Analog 3.5mm L/R Stereo, Audio Splitter for HDTV Soundbar Amplifier) It was required to use the HDMI-ARC audio output on my TV (the only audio output available), into the Audio Extractor, then an optical cable connection to the TV Ears set. Even then, it only worked sporadically until I found a hint online to edit my TV sound settings to Digital PCM (it was set to "Auto", but clearly was not working correctly). I believe all is now good, but this learning process took some time.

Base station stopped working—not sending a signal to the earphones. Called TV Ears multiple times and no answers. Very poor customer service and warranty response.

We have a relative that is hard of hearing and the volume needs to be REALLY LOUD. The loud volume hurt other people's ears. This product lets us watch TV together at a level that is comfortable for all of us. It also allows for late night TV viewing and early morning TV viewing that does not disturb others. Be sure to turn it off and put it on the charger when not in use. Easy to use, easy to install.

It's the clarity in the sound that I need. Makes all the difference in the world.

Im Prinzip sind die Kopfhörer eine sehr schöne Sache. Mein Mann ist schwerhörig und kann damit beim Fernsehen die laute Musik, die er immer als störend empfand, dämpfen. Er kann sich seine Lautstärke unabhängig davon, wie die Zimmerlautstärke ist, einstellen. Der Ton schaltet also nicht ab, sobald er die Kopfhörer einsteckt, sondern andere Personen können ihren Ansprüchen entsprechend trotzdem weiter hören. Das ist das gute. Nicht so gut finde ich die die Ohrstöpsel. Sie sitzen sehr lose und fallen auch immer wieder mal ab und runter, so dass sie gesucht werden müssen. Leider finde ich auch nirgends einen Hinweis auf Ersatzstöpsel. Wäre hilfreich, wenn diese auch hier mit angeboten würden und evtl. gleich der Lieferung beigefügt, da sie nicht sehr haltbar sind.

Sirve muy bien cuando no te mueves pero cualquier cosa que pongas entre el audifono y el receptor anula completamente la recepcion del sonido y se escucha mucho ruido de interferencia. Es ideal para las personas que no se mueven mucho. Puedes vivir con ello si te haces a la idea de su funcionamiento
