Great product, easy install
Fit my 1998 bmw 740il perfectly

Almost like originals
After reading the other reviews, it appears that not every strut is made the same. In MY case, these hold my E38's hood up, but they won't push it up on their own. It's a heavy hood. They fit perfectly without modifying anything and were a breeze to install.

Works well for BMW e38
Installed it on my BMW e38 in about 20 minutes. Works well fairly strong. If anything a very very slightly too strong. But given how these things wear I'm sure after a little while to break in it'll be perfect.

great struts
Easy to install, and now my hood can stay open when I want it to for my venerable BMW. Also they're relatively inexpensive. Definitely a good buy. I wish I had bought a set when I first purchased the car.
