I bought this and had it sent to my daughter for her 35th birthday. She had wanted one for years. I was worried about the quality and condition of it. It arrived healthy and in perfect condition!! It ate 2 fruit flies on its first day!! She is extremely happy with it!! Just FYI there are no care instructions except that it needs distilled water. Other than that, extremely happy with this purchase!!

Very unhappy with my purchase. We got the Fly Plant for out son who was wanting with anticipation only to be disappointed when it showed. Was near death, not even close to 3" and the heads as seen in the pictures are not even close to the size of a quarter. I wouldn't recommend this vender at all

i brought this plant for my daughter she was very happy and pleased with how it was shipped the plant was in very good shape and they even watered before she recieved it ...

When I bought this plant I was exited so I try my best to care for it, but then like 5 days later It was already dying because it wouldnt close its mouth to eat the food I was trying to give it, I even made the food smaller for it to eat but I didn’t even close.This plant was small, and It wasnt really easy to care for.

Received the plant today. It was well packaged; however, some of the plant was turning black (see photo) out of the package.Placed it in the sun and added some distiled water. We'll see how long it lasts.

My plant is still going strong 3 yrs later

So I bought this Venus fly trap for my 7 yr old son who became intrigued with this plant, however when it came it had a lot of dead/dry leaves. Most of them were also closed and still hasn't opened. Now I had this for about 3 weeks now and this is wat it looks like. I've been trying my best to care for it but it's like " is there even a point". Now I went to BJ's and found them there as well about a week ago ( they were healthier, more pleasing to the eye, half the price $10.99, and most importantly they were open, sone were closed but they did open to where my son was able to feed the fly trap and enjoy watching it )So before you purchase from here, I'll suggest that you check your nearest BJ's 😉

I see a lot of people saying not to buy these Venus fly traps. I purchased mine in may of 2022 and she is still going strong! They take a lot of care and effort. There really isn’t a day I don’t check on her. Coming back April or 2025 to purchase another. Looking forward to keeping her healthy!
