Good quality and does the job

Its good grease but after using it for a while I still prefer muc off grease

I bought this for use when servicing my road bike freehub. I ride big miles so I periodically tear down the freehub and thoroughly clean the pawls, and toothed drive ring and replace the bearings. In the past I have used Peaty's blue bicycle assembly grease for re-greasing everything and always achieved good results. However, I read that this stuff was better for fast moving parts like freehubs. Its definitely a bit lighter in viscosity and just seems to stick enough to do the job in this application. After re-assembly and a few long rides I can definitely say this grease has made my freehub spin a bit faster and hold a bit more speed. I'm very happy with the initial results but only time will tell how well it protects the parts from wear.

I thought this was a special black grease when i ordered it. I used it anyway and worked well.

I have not used it but all Peaty’s products are very good quality. Like bike lube, tube sealant and even cleaning products.
