All of the colors are bright and very pretty. Much brighter than BIC Brightliner highlighters.

These highlighters are good. The only, very minor thing, I don’t love is that the tips are very rigid, meaning they sort of scrape across the paper, rather than slide. Depending on the texture of the paper (particularly if it’s uncoated), it can be a touch like fingernails on a chalkboard. If you’re not someone who is easily bothered by such things, I highly recommend. The colors are vibrant, they last a respectable length of time, and the ink flows consistently.

I’m in law school which means a LOT of reading. I use different colors to highlight cases so that when I’m reviewing, I can easily locate the issue, rule, analysis, etc. last semester I used a brand that I landed on after trying a bunch. On a whim, I decided to try these because the brand I was using is expensive. These Amazon Basics are great. The best part is that I can use all the colors, even purple. All the other brands I tried were too opaque to use the darker colors. I haven’t put them to the test yet but I’m not concerned about them drying up fast since they are affordable. However, I would appreciate them being refillable so there isn’t so much plastic waste created. **I didn’t use any filters or make any changes to the photo. I want to note that the purple, blue, and green look slightly darker in the photo than in person.
