I'll guess that you're asking about 1/100 scale Gundam models, since 1/100 could have a model any size, depending on what the model is of. These should work just fine, 1/100 Gundams are just a little bit larger than the kit this was designed for.

I think Figma is kinda small compared to other 6” brands

They're unpainted and the plastics a dark grey similar to warhammer models.

Q: can the sheath peg onto a 1/44 scale Iron Blooded Orphans gundam?

It is kindly big for a 1/144 hg gundam if that is what you mean by 1/44 but it is suitable if you are looking for a large katana. However, it is not a bandai product so it won't be just a click-and-fit, you will have to drill holes on part(s) or superglue it on the gundam.
