Great Looking Kettle
Never heard of Aigostar before, but what a great kettle. Just touch the button and it comes on with bleep. You can either set the temperature for the kettle to switch off (2 beeps when it turns off), or watch the digital temperature display rise and lift the kettle off its base when you've reached your chosen temperature. 10 out of 10 for looks, build and price - I can see this kettle out lasting all my other kettle i've had in the past.In the past i've had 3 Murphy Richard kettles, but found on all of them the lids become loose and break after 2 years, on another brand the switch breaks off.

Neat kettle
Being able to select a temperature to heat water from 40 to 100 C is useful, and it works. It’s a neat, well designed and well made kettle. Only slightly disappointing aspect is that it’s gets rather noisy when boiling water. But it does it fairly quickly and you see the temperature rise as it does so. Overall many more pluses than the 1 minus.Easy to use, not at all heavy and no issues with leaks etc.

Excellent working kettle.
Great product, easy to use, and looks stylish. Doesn't rapid boil, but overall good.

Cheap, but it “DID” meet the brief!
Bought as a temporary kettle. It’s one of the cheaper variable temperature Kettles, and it shows. it feels light and plastic, and the design of it is too. The lid needs to be completely removed, rather than being a flip-top, but that’s just down to your preference. But it does what you expect. The dial, that sets the temperature, is easy to use. Fill the kettle with water, rotate the dial and press the same dial to heat. The is an display on the side that shows the temperature.I’m not sure I’d like this an everyday kettle, but it’s good enough for my purpose. It seems smaller, the thermostats is dubious (but good enough) but it doesn’t hold the heat as my old kettle did.….only time will say if it lasts long enough to be awarded an extra star…A WEEK LATER: it can be a pain to turn on. the switch doesn’t always work. You select the temperature, and press it, but nothing… repeat several times until it starts heating.MONTH LATER: I went away for a few days, and it no longer works. All of the electrics continue to work, but the kettle never heats (at all). Will be returning and looking for another…

Good value for money
I bought this because I did not like drinking water boiled in a plastic kettle due to the supposed health concerns. Best to go for a metal one. This does the job well. The heating element is hidden, so you only see a flat metal base. And it heats up very quickly. There is also a removable filter at its mouth in addition to the bigger holes in the metal body.If I had to nitpick any negative points: (a) It is a bit noisy while in operation and (b) the metal part outside gets damn hot, so have to be careful not to touch it (make sure you only touch the plastic handle, switch etc - basically any of the the black parts). However, given that this is made of metal, both these points are understandable and rather expected. All in all, a great kettle for its price. Looks good too.

Flexible temperatures, but the spout falls off rendering it useless.
Handy facility to set the temperature, with a good range of options, making it suitable for hot water bottles, tea, or any other hot water purpose. Though it would have been nicer to have an option between 90 and 100°C for making tea.Unfortunately, as many others on here, the spout finally fell off. I'm not sure how it was joined to the main body, but however it was done, it's a weak point and seems likely to happen at some point.

Better than Russell Hobbs!
Bought to replace a Russell Hobbs that developed the leak of doom that they all seem to get these days. I've had Russell Hobbs kettles my whole life and was reluctant to change brand but they seem to be terrible quality these days. This kettle is great. Boils quickly, is reasonably quiet and easy to clean. Bizarrely this review star rating asks for flavour?!? If you boil a couple of kettles full of water and discard them (use them to clean your drains out!) there is no flavour. I have very sensitive taste and I don't taste any plastic or anything else. Great kettle.

Very good but could be more powerful
This kettle is 2200 Watts. Why are there so few variable temp kettles of 3000 Watts?I like how it shows you the current temp as it boils, so you get an idea of progress.I unpacked it and as instructed, boiled it full three times. After that it refused to turn on so I left it unplugged for some time. It has been perfect since. I assume a safety cutout had prevented it overheating which is good to know, and how often are you going to want to boil four full kettles in a row?
