It's has a slight lift near the holes which makes it impossible to practice level putting. Made of good quality and durable material. I use it to practice indoor and on backyard patio. Similar to real green allowing ball to travel at regular speed. The little extra holes near hole are to help with ball return so it doesn't go too far especially good for indoor use.

I got two of these, one for my nephew, and one for my brother-in-law. We have all been having a great time Practicing our putting skills and challenging each other. Product is made very well. It is easy to store. Laid flat right out of box. 😁

Way better than expected, especially for the price. Very nice, soft surface. Holes could be a little deeper but honestly, for actually practicing putting, that they're not makes it appropriately more of a challenge to sink the putts.

For $30 I thought, why not? Upon receiving it, I rolled it out and it's AWESOME. It's huge, soft velvet, 3 holes to putt at, so you never get bored. It's well worth it

The good thing about products like these is their longevity. You do not have to worry about it breaking down like electronics. Though, one concern is the rubber bottom (for non-slide grip), which will eventually start to deteriorate and flake (we'll cross that bridge when we get there). I've had this mat for about 2 years and it is still in good working order. I use it on hardwood floor. I'm sure it can work on thin carpets too (I don't know about fluffy carpet floors though). What I wanted was a long mat for practicing touch from different distances. 9-10 feet is about the longest you can ask for before stepping into a different price category. You don't really need to practice 20 foot putts. Rather, you want to train your muscle memory to remember the "touch" as second nature, which requires repetition (think 10000 hour rule) and not so much a long mat. Nonetheless, this is the longest putting mat you can find at this price.

The carpet surface is good quality. Putting distance good starter, also has a good width. What is disappointing are the cut outs don't have cups and the hole needs a backstop because balls will rollright through it. Even with a mild putt to accommodate. It isn't advertised as including cups but need to offer with or as add-on imo.

I use this all winter to sharpen up my putting skills. It's one of the better ones that I've seen and it's pretty compact. It doesn't take a lot of area up and it works really well. If you just want something to hone in on your short game get this one it works my son got it as well. We both like them. Well worth the money
