Bought to help after spine injury
I used part of an injury settlement to buy this for household use, and it's saved me a lot of effort. The nose plate is large enough for fairly large loads (it lifted a toilet the other day), the battery has good runtime, and it's small enough to maneuver around small landings. It's easy to use, but it does have a tendency to fall over.

Does great job but small problems
First thing is this electric dolly really does make it WAY easier to bring heavy / odd shaped objects up stairs. Even on wet steps it had no problem getting traction on stairs. The toe that folds out is even bigger enough to safely carry the large 27 Gallon Yellow Top storage boxes which was the goal I wanted to use it for. However the handle that extends out isn’t as strong as it needs to be. It bent when putting weight on it when going up stairs and then had to be forced back into its “smaller” position which was a red flag for it breaking later down the road. Also the dolly had a big balance issue. When folded up it will not stand on it’s on whatsoever. When you have the toe folded out it will BARELY stand on its own and the slightly nudge, push , or even a breeze will cause it to fall over. For such an expensive item falling over on its on or risking laying it on the floor for someone to trip on or possible also even break this expensive tool seems pretty dumb.I then wanted to exchange it on Amazon but only gave me the option to return for a refund which I decided to go with, I then go to the UPS store and had to pay $180 to return it. I felt this was highway robbery as I wasn’t even given any option to exchange? Also If it had a problem later on and needed to use the warranty would I have to pay also $200 to just send it in? Voltstair to my best knowledge is in the USA and shouldn’t have been so crazy as it folds up reasonably small. All in all I really like this dolly and wanted to keep as I have stairs in my apartment and would be such a big help. Not sure if I’m missing out on such an amazing tool or avoiding a $1000 problem down the road?Update March 9,2022Amazon has refunded me my ridiculous return shipping charges. Apparently the seller is supposed to pay for return charges automatically (never knew that) Seller didn’t want to pay them so Amazon ended up paying it to me. Might purchase this item again on a different site that offers some kind of extended warranty since it feel like it’s an awesome piece but need some peace of mind for a 1000 dollar dolly if it breaks or something.

Lightweight
We like to do a lot of construction around the house and I already have really bad knees. This thing has been a lifesaver getting construction materials up the stairs and for moving stuff around
