My first impression upon receipt of this product was very positive. The Packaging was very well done. Each bottle was in an individual bag with the option of two types of dispensing caps and the bottles were wrapped in bubble wrap. Each bottle had a shipping cap and a safety seal. Very well done! If my order of this Shampoo & Conditioner is ever in the same shipping box as another amazon order I will never worry about leaking as I do with other liquid amazon orders. I like the size of the bottle a lot. It fits easily in my shower and would easily fit in many types of showers or on many styles of the shower caddies that hang from shower heads. I really like the option of two types of dispensing caps - I have never seen that before and think it was really great! The only issue I had with packaging was the pump cap dispenser. I could not get the head to release from the base so it would not pump. I could not get it to work. Thankfully, I had the other cap option. The shampoo is nice and thick and provides a great lather - the conditioner is a bit thinner but is easy to work through your hair. I was initially surprised that the conditioner was thinner but it does not feel too runny or thin. I like that the bottle has easy to read, clear instructions on how to best use the product. Although the scent of the product is really very strong while using it, I like that the scent of the product does not stay strong in my hair after my hair is dried. If the scent lingered too long I would not be able to use the product. After using the product my hair feels clean and light, not weighted down. My hair feels soft and well-conditioned and looks nice and shiny. I would give this product 4.5 stars if possible. I would only dock the half star due to the strong scent (maybe I am too sensitive, but I would want others to be aware) and for the thinness of the conditioner. The cap issue is just packaging and does not merit a star deduction.

Ever since I started using this, I don't buy any other shampoo or conditioner. Makes my hair soft and it feels light and clean.

Smells good though it's not really making my hair feel soft and smooth. I don't know about the hair fall if it's really effective for that since I've just started using it for over two weeks. And haven't seen any changes yet. It smells like the one you used when your at a nice hotel.

I waited for the weekend to try these given the reviews. After using them, it's not as terrible as they make it out, but I can easily say they are not using the same formula. The consistency is different and I don't smell any essential oils. The ingredient lists didn't change and it still makes your hair soft. Though I feel like something is different that I can't quite place. The current smell is rather neutral, neither bad nor great. The smell reminds me of suntan lotion or a fragrance free hand lotion. I grew up with a mother who's allergic to most fragrances so everything we had didn't have added scent. So I can easily say that nothing with any strong scent was added to these products. The big issue here is that means there was no essential oil added! Less important issue, the cap on one of them broke before it got to me. The lid's hinge broke and the little bit of plastic that the lid uses to stopper the hole broke off in the hole, so now it's a screw cap. I have other caps, I'll probably see if one of them work. So yeah, caps are super cheap. Conclusion: I don't plan to return them because it works well enough, but I won't be ordering again. I get neither the nice scent nor the end result that made this shampoo stand well above others. I might consider returning if they advertise that they've fixed whatever issue is causing this or announce they're going back to the old formula. Since my hair has been falling out, thinning and gets very oily, I decided to give this shampoo and conditioner. I really love this shampoo. Here has been my experience thus far: I have been using this shampoo for about a month approximately, the reason why I love it is because you can use it with oily hair, creating such cleanliness that I can shampoo every other day, if I go a 3rd day it takes a little more shampoo to work out the oil, but is still very cleansing. The conditioner is amazing and I massage it into my scalp, down through to my ends, I have long hair but probably takes the size of a silver dollar to work through so much hair after I let it sit while finishing my body washing, then I rinse. Initially I didn't dislike the smell but was not used to it, it has a very medicinal herbal scent (not surprised with the amount of herbs in the products, which is very large. After I got used to the smell I started to gain the confidence that the herbal medicinal smell was doing it's job because my hair fell out much less, it cleans beautifully, stops excess oiliness and nourishes great herbs deep into my roots. My hair is a bit stronger and thicker in one month. I had a compliment tonight on it which surprised me, because I am in the process of healing my hair and roots from stress and illness. I would just say if you have issues about how it smells then you can add a few drops of apricot oil or whatever oil you want, but only a few drops like 3, so you don't alter the composition of either shampoo or conditioner. I am so pleased with this and don't mind the herbal medicinal order, I like it, and it leaves no scent at all as you rinse it all out. I love how my hair looks. You can control how many of the oils you retain in your hair by how much you rinse it. With a light rinse I have found the ginger oil, etc conditions, and with a longer rinse, it conditions but with less oil residue, either way I didn't notice much of a difference to the oiliness of my hair, perhaps because it also contains Tea Tree oil. It also contains Rosemary extract which encourages new hair growth along with Ginger oil. This has Ginsing which will stimulate the hair root for hair growth also, plus other herbs and compounds that make this an excellent combination shampoo and conditioner. Lastly, I read other people who complained about the pump being difficult to put in. I had no difficulty at all, I used the advice of one of the reviewers which was to screw the pump into the bottle do so in a firm manner so it is snug. Then press down on the pump until it releases, and for me the pump when in without a hitch. Great product, I highly recommend.

I have bought this product multiple times thru Amazon by same BOTANIC HEARTH STORE but this last order was different than the rest. I called the number on website and learned that this product is produced in India, NOT the USA. The new scent from last purchase was different, horrible, while the past ones smelled like SPA Scent and lasted a long time and left hair very very soft. This new version made my hair brittle and smelled worse than commercial cleaning product even though the ingredients on label appear the same they are definitely not the same. The quality has been significantly reduced. The new version has white cap, cheaper brown bottle (unlike the pretty clearish brown bottle from before) and the last order has bubbles in the label and has no bar code. Walmart sells this so I recommend you open and make sure it has a bar code, smells nice and has the black caps should you wish to buy. A real shame. This company has lost a life long customer. Hard to respect a company that does not stand by their quality. Who knows what the heck chemicals are now in these products when changing so drastically. Perhaps new ownership? Who knows. No one could give me an answer if they changed owners and who they are.

Really works! I suffer from a itchy scalp (no dandruff) caused by stress and is also triggered by acute dermatitis. Using this shampoo and conditioner. The itch is gone.!! I've tried several shampoos , this one actually works! And way less expensive than any of the specialty shampoo/ conditioners.
