Very easy great fit
Awesome fit and no fuss. I used the keepers from original because the new ones didn't stay on good.

Does not fit right
Nothing lines up. There are gaps where their shouldn't be. Very cheaply made not even the same size. Would not recommend at all. Not wide enough for any radio to fit in there without having to trim. Total crap. Manufacturer doesn't even have a valid phone number to call

If you want a double din, this is a must have
I did a little math. Replacing my janky stock speakers and head unit for quality speakers and a decent-enough head unit with Bluetooth/navigation/backup camera was less expensive than buying a different vehicle. This truck may only be driven a few times a month but I still like the connivence of my phone syncing automatically and the backup camera for hooking up trailers. This dash plate is a necessity to make that happen. Other reviews have complained about clips snapping off or the face place not mounting totally flush to the main body of the dash or other minor issues. What they aren't taking into account is the age of the rest of the truck. My Z71 was built in 1997. Yeah, pushing 30 years ago while I was still in high school. My parts and pieces aren't to factory specs these days either. A couple of the places where the clips would attach are no longer there, one of the vents cracked while removing the previous face plate, and I had to trim a couple places to make it seat in place. The fitment wasn't a problem with the faceplate itself but with my dash shifting over the years. All that said, I friggen love having a modern head unit so the issues were worth it. A little velcro in a few spots made everything happy. I originally planned on repainting the black to match the stock blue but have since decided against it. If you're on the fence, climb on over. 4 replacement speakers, head unit, and this dash plate were $550ish but WELL worth the time and money.

Its a nice kit, but it will need some fitting
First, the company took their sweet time in shipping this to me. It shipped 5 days after I ordered it. This made it really late. I was supposed to receive it on the 28th. Then Amazon apologized to me and said that it would arrive on the 1st. They said if it was late, I could get a full refund. It arrived on the 2nd. But, I still needed it, so I kept it. The box includes the dash trim and hardware, plus lots of other useful stuff like the brackets to hold your stereo in place, screws, a wire harness, and other useful stuff. I didn't used all of it, but it was good to have the things I did use. The trim itself was not a perfect fit. In the attached pictures, you can see major gaps. But, if you know a little about manipulating plastic with heat, you can probably get a better fit. I will pull it off another day to make it fit better. Also, you have to transfer your AC vents and some other hardware over to the new trim from the old. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, but have given it a 4 out of 5 because of the late shipment and the imperfect fit. I would still buy it again.Update: I revisited the fitment of the trim to improve it and found that the original tray which fills the place for adding a cd player on this car was keeping it from fitting right. I removed it and used the replacement tray that came with the dash trim and it fits much better now. Not perfect, but pretty close. No heating of the plastic was needed.

Did not fit correctly.
Got this for a 98 Silverado and one of the alignment pins was in the incorrect spot making the hole around that climate controls not line up correctly. Other than that it seemed really good quality but after install it’s looks cheap. After some modifications I was able to get the dash to fit better and it still is not a perfect fit but looks much better than other options on the market.

Good Quality
I have a 1998 GMC Sierra 2500 and this is a perfect for my truck . It is very well made and looks like a factor part, well worth the money . as far as the installation it can be a bit difficult but if you tilt the steering wheel all the way down and move the gear shift all the way to the right you will have the room to remove the old one and replace it with the new one . The only negative thing is the mounting clips provided did not work very well so i needed to modify them . Other wise a good buy looks just like the picture in the ad.

Very complete kit, bad mold for the dash
Got it all assembled and clicked into place, keeps popping out on one side. unfortunately the temperature controls and stereo doesnt line up with the cut outs either. Took it apart and put it back on multiple times before I noticed the top trim line that goes across the entire length of it has a slight wave to it instead of the very slight curve that it needs to have. Must be a bad cast or the mold itself was bad.4x4 switch place pops out as well.
