A good product, but useless for my purpose! Beware.
Now that the conventional telephone service, PSS = packet switched service, is about to be withdrawn, there will be a scramble to prepare for VOIP telephones.I have had a VOIP line that, in my case uses Sipgate as phone provider, plugs via a small box of electronics called a phone adaptor, directly into my broadband via a broadband switch.I hoped to be able to plug my existing landline into the back of the router on the basis that the electronics for this purpose were already in the router. So I bought this converter for this purpose. IT DIDN'T WORK. [I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the CDL adaptor - but that the electronics is not yet provided within the router]. However it was worth a try.The implication is therefore that my router is not yet ready for the changeover, and that Vodafone (my ISP) will provide a replacement router when the time comes for the changeover.

Disappointing
Not only is it difficult to get the BT plug in and out of this adapter (the socket feels too small), it also doesn’t ring the phone on inbound calls.

It works fine but feels and looks a bit flimsy.
It works but feels a bit flimsy, I ended up buying a proper RJ11 to RJ11 cable to connect my uk landline phone to my Huawei 4G router.

Life saviour!
I used this to plug into my irish phone line. Then I plugged my BT/English phones into the other end.Well technically I plugged a three phone splitter into that and now have three BT/English phones running off it but hey!
