OH man.....I'm outside running the dog around cracking this thing all the time. My wife and my neighbors think I'm crazy, but the dog and my grandson love it. He will throw a frisbee at me and have me try to whip it out of the air...or he rides me around on the riding lawn mower while I crack it.... The only issue I have had with it so far is that the fall is attached to the whip with stitches and then covered by the fall hitch instead of tied on (as I've seen others). The fall came off once and I had to loosen the hitch, stitch it back on and then try to fix the hitch as best I could. I sure am no whipmaker, but so far it has held just fine with that. I keep my eye on it and make sure it isn't about to go flying off. Order cracker/poppers or learn how to make your own if you get this, because you will not want it to wear out and not have extras. I think they wear out faster depending on how many you have on hand.

When I first pulled this whip out of the packaging, what struck me first was the scent of leather, and the heft of a well-made tool. Upon uncoiling it, I sent a resounding *crack* throughout the house, causing my boyfriend to come running. With a beatific grin, he presented his posterior to what I believe was the best, the very finest, whipping that he had ever received. This whip offers a nice, heavy handle, perfect for those wrist-flicking, skin welting blows that really let him know what discipline can be. The plaits are beautifully woven, and leave a lovely, unique pattern upon one's glutes. The tail is strong, and bites hard, and deep.HIGHLY recommended!!

So, I'm not like a professional whipper or anything. I will tell you, I actually bought it to go with my Indiana Jones outfit. But, I'm kindve regretting it now. I did not realize how thin it was going to be upon arrival. Maybe that's how whips are, I dont know, but the picture showed different. Not only is it way thinner than the picture, mine is completely black. Not dark brown at all, just black. This part of it is really gonna drive me insane, because my Indiana jones costume is all brown, and I'm gonna have a random black whip now.. =( That kind've upsets me quite alot. Anyways, for the price, it's really not that bad. To be honest, it does look like it's about to fall apart, but let's hope it doesn't.

This is my first whip and even though I don't have anything else to compare it to it's clearly high quality for the price! Obviously won't compete with one in the $150 and up range but it's not supposed to- it's for beginners or casual users.I will say the end of mine has loosened and the inside is exposed but I blame that on myself- I'd been whipping against the ground at times while getting used to it, including rock, and you shouldn't do that with any whip. That being said it still cracks loud and I expect it'll last a decently long time.

The workmanship on the whip and knowing some about leather I chose to re-order the same whip, hoping that the first was a fluke. After working with the new whip for two days and two crackers, this one is "Great"! The workmanship is superb and this whip is working in wonderfully. I would recommend this item and the seller.This was my first review;I cracked it six times noting that it became baffled just before the crack, and discovered a slit towards the end of the leather just before the cracker. So disappointed in the final Q&A, this should have been cought.

Beginner here. I learned how to crack a whip off youtube with this whip. I like it for the most part. One draw back is that there is a lip where the horse tail is taped to the rest of the whip and sometime it gets snagged on itself but it's easily fixed. BTW do not use for sex bull whips can carve flesh, not sexy.

The whip looks good, is not meant for use. It's only good for a prop. My son bought one and the first day it started to fall apart on the end. He taped it and I reported it to Amazon. They sent a second and after 3 days of use it alsostared to fall apart. We used a rubber band to keep the end from fraying anymore, but the string part on the end has completely fallen off.

If you think you want to be Indiana Jones, but you aren't Harrison Ford, but you think you can work up to his level, then this whip is as good a place to start as any! Pros; The construction for the most part is sturdy, It's a good size for a beginner, with a bit of room and finesse you can crack it indoors. The price point is low enough that if it just ends up as a wall hanger you aren't out too much.Cons: Not the best quality, the handle and main body of the whip are okay but it had a half-assed fall hitch and the fall itself was of low quality, very stiff almost brittle leather. Mine came flying off with the first couple of cracks. I had to find an acceptable strip of leather and learn to tie a fall hitch which wasn't very difficult, but I shouldn't have had to do that so soon.Overall I would say, good value for the money, great for a beginner to try the sport, but it ain't gonna make you Indi.

It is a wonderful product, very well made, exactly what I wanted. It is fun to practice with, but now I have to find a goal of what the practice is for. Any suggestion? By the way, it needs a lot of space to practice with, and rather loud.

Feels good and nice sound

Excellent whip, better quality than the price suggests. Really easy to control and hit the same spot repeatedly. Much better than my other whip that I paid £80 for

This is a good BW to start with - The length is perfect for beginners and this is definitely not a toy.
