This is great for fructose intolerance. If we accidentally eat a large amount of fructose this helps with digesting it. Only use in emergencies as it is also sugar, but the glucose tabs you buy in the store are not real glucose, it is d-glucose, which is dextrose. Real glucose is the one that aids digesting fructose.

I tried these after my rescue gummies were out of stock for several months, and these are my new favorite. My lows are generally over night, so I keep these in bed with me. They dissolve easily, no need to chew, I worry less about choking than with gummies or tablets. Plus they taste good

I have not tested them to actually see whether or not they raise my low glucose count. I was looking all over for glucose tabs, etc. that do not contain artificial coloring and finally found this item. My only negative concern is that caramel coloring is listed as one of the ingredients, and this is NOT natural and upsetting that the company would have to include that as one of the colorings.. On a plus side, these are soft and easy to consume, not hard like tabs.

Being that it is a gummy item, you chew it and get a nice flavor. Glucose tablets I used in the past were extremely chalky, and took longer to raise my blood sugar
