This is a beautiful table and it is very heavy, which is good to me. That means it's good quality. I haven't quite figured out how to get the leaf out of the middle. So I will need to relook up the video, ha ha. It was very easy to put together. Great customer service, because the first one I received As it comes in to separate boxes, the base was cracked from top to bottom. I contacted the seller and they were able to send me out a brand new base, wonderful customer service.Thank you

I love this table. It's the perfect size for my downsized apartment. At 42 inches it seats 4 very comfortably. I have not yet extended the butterfly leaves. The package for the tabletop was torn during delivery and I held my breath & crossed my fingers for no damage as I unwrapped it. It was wrapped very securely and there was no damage. This package was oversized and HEAVY so I'm not surprised it took a bit of a beating. I absolutely needed a strong friend to help me get this up a steep flight of stairs to my apt. The option was to disassemble the box outside and bring up the parts individually. The tabletop would have still been terribly heavy! The instructions were great. The packaged hardware was separately labeled with an extra washer, locking washer and nut included "just in case." The needed tools were included. It went together very easily, a testiment to great design. It's incredibly sturdy with no wobble thanks to the leveling nubbins on the bottom of the legs. There is absolutely no movement as I lean on one side, either. I am completely pleased. The color, style and visual weight is a beautiful match to my existing chairs. My friend claimed it looks like the table was built for my chairs. My apartment now feels like a home!

It took 2 people about 30-60 mins to fully assemble. Instructions weee clear and all pieces were included. Looks a great and feels sturdy.

UPDATE— I have several things to say about this table. I have updated my review from one star to four stars. I originally only received the tabletop. No base, no instructions, no assembly tools. Naturally, I freaked out. Had a giant, expensive, HEAVY mess all over my living room and no functional table. Contacted the seller. They responded quickly and sent me two different tracking numbers. Aha. The base of the table, along with instructions and tools, were delivered the next day. There was nothing on amazon indicating this would come in two shipments. I had one tracking number and it showed as delivered. Had I known to expect 2 shipments, it would have saved me a headache.When I went to assemble the table, it was more difficult than it should have been. I disassembled more of the tabletop than I should have on the first night because I was trying to figure out if the base was somehow stored in there- and I didn’t have instructions to go by so I was just trying to figure it out. Had I known to expect 2 shipments, I would have left it alone and it would have been easy.After all that, I still am giving the table 4 stars because, now that all that is over, I really like the table! It is strong and sturdy. Looks great in my house. I’m very pleased with it!ORIGINAL REVIEW— Only received half the table- no base or legs for it to stand on. No assembly instructions or tools. Now I have a giant mess in my living room and no table to eat at. Am I supposed to return it? Package that giant heavy crap back up? Drag it into the UPS store? Nightmare. I’ve been wanting a table just like this at IKEA but hated the cost. I stumbled upon with from Amazon and thought I’d give it a go as it was much more affordable than what I had set out to purchase. I’m SUPER pleased! The finish is my favorite feature as I have kids and messes are made frequently. Marker and crayon wipes right off. Additionally it feels very sturdy and the leaf mechanism is perfect! I’m very satisfied.

The table admitted sawdust onto the chairs from the first time we put it together. We were unsure what was happening and kept looking and looking to see what was going on. We finally found some tunnels, and they contain beetles. After research, we’re pretty sure these are a powder post beetle. They will just continue to lay larva and hatch out and continue to infest the table to leave eaten it up.

Table is beautiful and easy to put together. The wood feels heavy and expensive. We had an issue with the base of the table and the seller was very responsive and was quick to send out a replacement piece. I would definitely purchase from this seller again.

Looks like high quality wood, no damages and easy to assemble. Does take two people to pull it out of the box after putting the legs and bottom on. I like the color of the wood and the paint.
