TL;DR- This, in combination 2 other products, works well for me and my flaky skin. --- Untreated, the skin on my face often dries out and flakes (much like dandruff, which I also have), leaving the newly exposed skin sensitive and red. Mainly around nose and cheeks, but occasionally it flared up on my chin as well. Although I probably should, I haven't seen a dermatologist about it. Before I got it to a manageable state, I thought it was a minor inconvenience, and (from what I could guess) probably a very, very mild form of rosacea or seborrheic dermatitis. It was often not noticeable unless it flared up, typically when the seasons changed. It was worst in winter, especially my chin on days when I shaved. But since it wasn't always noticeable, I kind of just dealt with it... ...until I moved to Korea to teach ESL. Kids are not shy, and they will ask what is wrong with your face (lol). Appearance is very important in Korea and it is very common for men to wear lots of makeup there, too. So my flaky red face when it flared up was definitely noticeable. And the stereotype in Korea is that red face = drunk. So one day, a kid saw me during a flare up, with a red nose and cheeks, and asked me if I was drunk. I realized I needed to do something, cause I didn't want kids going home to their mama and papa bears saying my face is red and the mama/papa bears thinking their ESL teacher is hungover/drunk (for the record, I was NOT lol). So that evening I went to a big cosmetics store (Boots) and looked at all the facial products. I spent 2-3 hours there reading packages, looking up ingredients, reading reviews, etc. Again, I probably should have gone to a dermatologist, but I wanted to fix things that night. Because my skin was flaking off in dry flakes like dandruff, I figured I needed something very gentle (if I exfoliated, my face would just be redder, even temporarily). And I figured I needed some heavy moisturization as well, hoping that if I moisturized well, it wouldn't dry, and then not flake off, leaving red skin. RealBarrier stuck out to me because of the name. I felt like my skin barrier was breaking apart, so to have a product for sensitive skin with the word "barrier" in it sounded promising. So I bought the cleansing foam and a RealBarrier "gift pack" that came with small sizes of CicaRelief Serum, Intense Moisture Cream, Extreme Cream, and CicaRelief Cream. I made a routine to wash my face with this cleansing foam, then apply the products in the order I listed. After a couple weeks I saw a huge change, my skin was "normal". No flare ups! I've gradually stopped using Intense Moisture Cream and Extreme Cream, so now I just use the foaming cleanser in the shower, then after shower the Cica serum, and then Cica cream. I can't speak for any product by itself, because I've been using all 3 together, but one of the 3, or the combination, as long as I keep using it, has "cured" me. My skin isn't "flawless" or anything, but normal (no flare ups) is enough for me! Now I've moved back to the US, and am relieved to find this product on Amazon. It's exactly the same consistency and everything as the ones I bought in-store in Korea. It may not be for everyone, but works great for me, and I recommend giving it a shot. If you do, I recommend following the instructions to make it "foam" (put on hand, add tiny bit of water, "squeeze" it in your hands to make it foamy). I also regularly shake up all 3 products in case any ingredients have started to separate.

I have sensitive and dry to really dry skin and I'm prone to acne. This cleanser is really gentle and doesn't dry out my skin. Befor I used this one I had really problems with flakie dry skin patches, but after starting to use this cleanser and the Innisfree Black tea youth enhancing Ampoule I don't have any dry patch or pimple on my face. So I really love it!

Really enjoy this cleansing foam, takes away the most stubborn makeup. Need just a tiny bit for cleaning full face including mascara.
