This item works well hanging over the edge of our sink which is very wide so we have the space for it. I like that it's adjustable and it has the rubber edges so it doesn't scratch my counter. But we are starting to see some rust and we have had this for only a few months. I have a feeling in a year we will be throwing this out and replacing it. But it is really useful in the meantime.

I have an "awkward" sink so most caddies don't work. The extender on this is nice but would be even better about a half inch longer

As described, and exactly what I needed. It was a little hard to expand it, but not difficult, just tight, but once it does expand it stays, so I am very pleased.

It extends long enough to fit one side of our garage sink.The concept is greatHowever it is not engineered well.You need to pull the two segments of the contraption in opposite direction in order to get to the size you want — but it’s nearly impossible, because the parts rub way too tightly against each other.I’m handy, and so I found a way after 15 minutes of hard labor.Unless my sample was an exception, I recommend you buy this only if you’re handy. If so, you may find as much satisfaction as I did, at the end of the road.
