Insanely sturdy, cool finish treatment.
I bought this to work on my adventure bike. This lift makes it simple to get the bike securely off the ground and easily handles the 500+ pound load. After raising it with a wrench one time, I bought a 1" socket to raise and lower with my cordless drill. That makes it much more efficient if youre going to use it more than occasionally. The finish on the metal is really cool looking. I have not had it long enough to judge how durable it will be. But it is so much more better looking sitting in the garage compared to one that's just painted red or blue.Overall, this fits a specific need for me and provides great home workshop function. There are a lot of similar options at this price point, I picked based on what I liked the look of and this has worked out well.

Built like a tank, and would probably lift one too.
Very low profile and super study construction. Easily lifts my heavy touring bikes, including my trike. Less expensive and less sturdy jacks might appeal to your wallet, but if they fold up and your bike or someone else's tips over, is it worth it? I have complete confidence in the strength and durability of this jack.

I made a good choice
I bought this to use with my 2004 H-D Softail. The jack is a good size for the bike, seems well-made, and is sturdy. I expect I will get many years of use out of this product. I did decide to buy a 1" socket and small breaker bar instead of using a wrench as a handle. This setup makes it easier to operate the jack from a low starting position, but there is no reason a wrench wouldn't work. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase, including the speed of the shipment and quality of the packaging.

K&L fat jack
I recently purchased the fat jack for my 2008 Goldwing and have used it 3 times already. This jack is worth every dollar I paid for it. The jack is of high quality material and has the ability to pick up front or rear of bike with ease. I did try it out to see how it worked lifting the hole bike up and it worked very well doing this also. I had purchesed a jack from another company of much less price and used it app. 6 times only to have the jack fail and snap the main screw bolt. When I called to re order the part I was informed that I could not purchase the bolt separately so jack is now useless. Spend the money on the fat jack and you will not be disappointed.

Quality built product from K&L
K&L scissor jack is the best. I like the fat jack for heavy touring bikes. The MC450 works also but not as wide. I like the stability of the fat jack. The fat jack came with the rubber pad adhered to the jack, not a separate item to purchase. The quality of this jack over the cheap import jacks is huge.
