This is my 2nd board purchased from this company. The first board was awesome. Very sturdy. Finally snapped in half after an entire year of wear. At that point it was time to order another. I went directly back to recent purchase to price the exact same board. This time it arrived…the quality was very different. The board inside was very thin and the cloth material in the outside was not removable like the first board. This one was stitched completely all the way around. Two obvious indications that this was off less quality but from the same merchant. After 3 days of wearing the board, it was completely curved. That doesn’t suppose to gain with a wood board. My first 1 didn’t do that. After about 5 days…the board snapped in half. The last red flag indication that i ignored was that the price was cheaper. My first board i paid $30, this second 1 was $23. I need another board but this merchant seems to be the only seller of stomach wood boards but note I’m scared.

This is by far the best abdominal board I’ve used post-surgery. It is actually made from wood and has no give so it always maintains its shape, unlike other boards made from foam/plastic, etc.

Feels sturdy and thick but, it broke while wearing it in public which was super embarrassing. Probably a rare case but, I wouldn’t recommend if you’re into super tight compression.
