Wonderful for baking
I loved the taste, and they are great for baking. My granola bars and cookies turn out great. They do use palm oil and red dye # 40. Not really very healthy.

Tasty treat!
Love these. I am raising my children vegan pescetarian for health reasons, but I still want my kids "to be kids". These lil caramel chips makes childhood fun!! It allows our home made cookies to be even more yummy than their friends. We use them when we make our rice crispy treats, in our smoothie bows, on cakes and cookies....The flavor is really good. The price matches the dairy free/vegan chips we find at stores. I have only ever found this brand on amazon.... and I have been "sold" since. Buy without a second though.

Sweet but non-dairy replacement for caramel chips
These chips run a little too sweet, but at least they are non-dairy.

Caramel? Really? More like, sugar flavored baking chips.
Just a quick review... Not caramel flavored. Not anything flavored. Just sugar pellets. Bland, boring, generic, pointless. Tried them plain, tried them baked into cookies. Useless. $20 gone. Wish I could have tried just one bag. Now I have three and nearly a fourth full one to toss in the trash. Also, while it's mentioned in the description, please note that this seller, Great Ones For You, for some reason doesn't use cold shipper packs. If it's hot, your bland sugar pellets will melt. Mine melted a bit, but recovered. If you want a good baking chip, stick with King David's white chocolate chips, also offered by this seller. They are amazing. Just avoid the caramel (and butterscotch).Happy baking.

Seems to taste more like butterscotch than caramel
I got this for a relative who doesn't eat dairy products but misses caramel. I figured this might be good for them for making caramel apples etc. They tried to make some and they don't like that as much, they feel they taste to much like butterscotch than caramel. I tried some of what they had left over and I kinda agree if you eat to much of it, it does kinda taste like butterscotch and not in a good way.I would say it's better than nothing, but now there is at least 1-2 bags left in the fridge that will probably stay there for a while until they slowly finish them off. It was worth a shot though, I appreciate this company for trying. I would say if you want to try them out, go for it. You don't have much to loose, but you may find you don't like the flavor as much. It's basically better than nothing in that respect.
